Reviews

I do believe the staff is highly trained, and the doctor is likely an expert in his field. However, I can’t shake the feeling that I was most definitely scammed. I agreed to undergo PGT testing with them, which costs $6,500 out of pocket since no insurance covers it. After the egg retrieval, they informed me that 7 eggs were viable for ICSI. However, during the blastocyst phase, they told me all the eggs had died, except for one that showed some potential. They wanted to give it another two days to see if it would develop further. Two days later, I received a call saying the egg was progressing well and could be sent for PGT testing. It’s worth noting that the cost of PGT remains the same whether you’re testing 7 eggs or just 1. While having only one egg means you avoid the $1,500 storage fee, the PGT test still costs $5,000. I was told PGT testing was mandatory because I had already signed the consent forms. They called to collect my credit card details over the phone, processed the payment, and two days later, I got another call informing me that the PGT results showed the egg was not viable. This meant we couldn’t proceed to the next steps. Naturally, I had questions, but they avoided giving me clear answers. As a patient, you feel powerless, as you’ve essentially signed away your rights with the mountain of waiver forms they require. Since that call, I haven’t received any updates or follow-ups from the doctor. This process didn’t work out for us, leaving us drained emotionally, financially, and mentally. While it might work for someone else, be aware that when you sign those forms, you’re essentially handing over your wallet to a system that feels more like a pack of hungry vultures preying on your hope.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’ve seen some bad ones and I wanted to share my personal experience. To be honest, everyone has been very kind to me, from the receptionist who speaks two languages and made me feel more comfortable talking to me in my first language, which is Spanish. I am impressed by how quickly everything is moving, my appointments have been fast, my questions have been answered quickly, and if I leave voice messages I receive an answer the same day. The doctor is kind, I met him at my second appointment, he explained the steps to follow and was there to solve doubts, but for me everything was very clear. The girls from the laboratory and the ultrasounds are very nice! I felt very comfortable with them. Overall, I’m satisfied with the clinic.

Dr. Miller performed surgery on my uterus. He removed a septum that was preventing me from carrying a pregnancy to term. Dr. Miller is very good at what he does! Because of this, he might not have a ton of time to sit and chitchat during appointments. I can appreciate that because I know it allows for him to see and help so many families in a short amount of time. I have heard that many women needing the same surgery as me have to wait many months. Dr. Miller’s office was able to schedule mine very quickly! I am so grateful for Dr. Miller because after one successful surgery I am now holding my rainbow baby in my arms!

If I could leave 0 stars, I absolutely would. I have never encountered such unprofessionalism from both a doctor and an office as I did with Dr. Miller. After waiting weeks for a phone appointment, Dr. Miller called me 30 minutes after the scheduled time. Not only did he fail to apologize for the delay, but when I mentioned that his lateness might cause me to be late for my next appointment, he became defensive and argumentative. He claimed he was only 15 minutes late and belittled me by saying, “I’m a physician, don’t waste my time.” I calmly corrected him, pointing out that it was actually 30 minutes late, not 15, and explained that while the delay wouldn’t have been an issue, his disrespectful tone was unacceptable. No matter your title or position, it’s important to treat others with respect. I would never allow someone who speaks to me like that to perform surgery on me or manage my care. I’m relieved I encountered this level of unprofessionalism early on, as I could never trust this team with my health. There are plenty of qualified fertility, reproductive, and endometriosis specialists in the Chicagoland area. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. The negative reviews are here for a reason.

I have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Miller! IVF is not an experience I wish upon anyone, but I wouldn't have wanted to do it with any another doctor or team. I was a difficult case but after 5 rounds, we are expecting our first baby boy 🙂 Dr. Miller never lost hope and helped us stay optimistic throughout our long journey. I am so grateful for him and his team, we owe him everything!!
