About Dr. Essam Michael

Dr. Essam Michael is the founder, director and CEO of Astra Fertility Group and serves as Head of Hospital. He completed residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Queen’s University in 1994 and is certified by both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

His clinical work focuses on reproductive medicine and reproductive surgery, assisted reproductive technology, minimally invasive and endoscopic procedures, uterine anomalies, recurrent intrauterine adhesions and severe Asherman syndrome, tubal disease, and endometriosis. He also founded and directs the Astra Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit.
