Reviews
Dear hopeful, I cannot explain in words the things we went through at this place. It literally made us lose hope during a time were hope is all we had! After many crying nights and prayer we decided we are starting our journey again at another clinic. Staff at Astra were horrible, no help. They treated us like the pay cheque we were at the time. No instructions, no follow ups, no care. The last straw for me as I watched my wife go through all these emotions was when the doctor almost injected my wife with another man's semen. Please do yourselves a favor and go elsewhere! Save your emotional and mental state!
"Five stars for Astra Fertility! Thanks to Dr. Michael and the wonderful nursing staff, I am officially two and a half months postpartum with my son. The team made the ovulation induction process seamless, providing excellent monitoring and personalized care every step of the way. I felt fully supported throughout the testing and treatment phases. I’m so thankful for this experience and highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking to start their family.😄💘💙💖🩵💓
Dr. Michael and all his staff including receptionist and phlebotomists were soo welcoming and helpful! My husband and I are so excited to start our journey with the clinic. This is the most hopeful we have felt in a long time. So far have only had one appointment, will update if anything changes, so far very happy with how we are being treated
I am here for the positive shoutout for Astra clinic’s whole team. Almost a year ago i started my fertility journey with them. Dr. Essam Micheal did our treatment. Today my baby is 3 weeks old. I am just over the moon and very much thankful for the whole team for their great care throughout my IVF
I had my first miscarriage and was referred to Astra. After evaluation, they told me I needed surgery on my uterus because it “couldn’t hold a baby.” I trusted them and underwent the procedure. I conceived in August last year. During the pregnancy, I repeatedly asked if everything was okay and whether I needed extra precautions or bed rest due to my history. I was never properly advised about any serious risks. At 5½ months, my cervix opened unexpectedly. I had to undergo an emergency C-section, delivered a premature baby, and sadly lost my child at 6 months. Six months of hope, dreams, and happiness disappeared. Later, when I consulted other doctors, many of them mentioned that since I had a previous miscarriage and had undergone uterine surgery, I should have been closely monitored. They said a preventive cervical stitch (cerclage) might have been advised to avoid such a situation. But this was never suggested to me. When I contacted the clinic after losing my baby, the front desk staff was rude and said they “only handle fertility cases.” If they only handle fertility, why was surgery performed on me? Surely the doctors and medical team would know the future risks and consequences of such procedures. I am not a doctor, so I trusted their guidance completely. Because of what I experienced, I request everyone — especially parents-to-be — to be very careful and ask detailed questions about risks, follow-ups, and preventive care. I pray no one ever has to go through this pain due to possible medical negligence. Malayalikal undenkil, devaayi valare careful aayirikanam.
