My husband and I had an awful experience with this clinic. Communication was confusing as we were connected with a patient coordinator, the dr, and the dr’s nurses. They would communicate a little via email and phone and their online portal making it difficult to follow. Information wasn’t provided in a timely manner and had to be requested several times. One virtual appointment we had, the doctor left their webcam off. Felt very impersonal and lacking in care. This clinic made us feel as though they were pushing for IVF without having even tried other less invasive and costly routes. They had zero recommendations when it comes to managing PCOS, a huge contributor to infertility. They made it feel as if they were hungry for another candidate to complete IVF so they could make more money. Very disappointing experience, we have since left the clinic.

The staff is really kind. Dr James Graham is one of the nicest, and very caring doctor ive ever had a consultation with. He just seems like a top tier doctor. Id would have loved to have him do my ivf. Unfortunately we got denied for the free funding, and won't be able to do ivf. And Dr. Graham was very kind and knowledgeable. Even though we got turned down, i still think it's important to do these reviews

Nothing but amazing things to say about olive Victoria!! Dr. Graham has been phenomenal. We met him during our first appointment. I saw him in person when he performed a test, as well as a follow up appointment. The nurses have been kind, knowledgeable, and incredibly quick to respond to phone calls and emails. We are going forward with our first IVF and feeling very comfortable and confident in the clinic, Dr. Graham, and the nursing team.

I attempted embryo freezing here twice. The first time was so bad that they didn't even bother charging me so I used it as credit for the 2nd procedure which also failed. They are basically an IVF factory and the nurses (while very nice) kept forgetting what I was in for (ie not getting pregnant). I never met my doctor in person until starting stims smh. I had the worst ultrasounds with Dr Graham every single time. I was basically screaming with pain and holding on to the chair. Dr. Dayan was able to do it with 0 pain so clearly I wasn't the problem. I didnt like that I would have to see new doctors every appointment who didn't seem to be communicating with each other. Anyways, I went to Grace Fertility in Vancouver where I had a pain free experience and froze embryos on my first attempt there.

My experience with Olive Fertility Clinic in Victoria, BC was deeply disappointing and emotionally distressing. Over the course of approximately six rounds of IUI, I spent more than $6,000 in treatment costs. During this time, there was significant staff turnover, and I frequently encountered nurses who appeared undertrained, misinformed, or unfamiliar with my medical history. On my second IUI cycle, I did become pregnant; however, this unfortunately ended in miscarriage. At that time, I was advised only that I might experience “slight cramping,” without adequate guidance or follow-up. I was later given incorrect instructions regarding medication, which added unnecessary confusion and stress during an already traumatic experience. During one IUI procedure, after 45 minutes, i was left in tears as not one but 2 nurses were unable to locate my cervix, as I was visibly distressed and repeatedly asking to see a physician. When a doctor eventually arrived, I was told how busy they were and that the procedure would need to be rushed as I cried—despite the fact that I had paid over $1,000 for that treatment. This interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. After my sixth IUI, I was told that I was “not a good candidate” and that continuing IUIs was no different than trying to conceive on my own, despite no changes in my medical tests or diagnosis. I was advised to consider IVF instead. This assessment was confusing, given that a pregnancy had previously occurred under IUI treatment. Five months after that appointment, following personal life changes, I attempted to book a follow-up consultation. Since November 2025, the clinic has not responded to my calls or emails. To date, I have been unable to secure a basic follow-up appointment or speak with a physician. Although the clinic has three physicians, I was told I could only consult with one specific doctor (Dr. Dayan), even though the other physicians had performed medical procedures during my treatment cycles. No clear explanation was provided for this limitation. At this point, I have been waiting over three months without medical follow-up, guidance, or support. My only point of contact has been a nurse who, in my experience, was argumentative and appeared misinformed about my case. Overall, I felt abandoned during a vulnerable and time-sensitive medical process. Fertility treatment requires not only medical competence but also communication, continuity of care, and compassion. Unfortunately, those elements were consistently lacking in my experience at Olive Fertility Clinic. I share this review so others can make an informed decision. Patients deserve dignity, respect, and reliable care—especially in fertility medicine.
