Reviews
Fertility treatment is an extremely difficult and emotional experience. Knowing this and seeing my positive review you might expect that you will receive a nurturing and personalized experience throughout your treatment. At Olive you will not. You will feel like a number. Once you reckon with this impersonal experience and understand that what you need to have success is a highly orchestrated and well timed machine of staff, you may feel differently about the clinic. At least I did. At Olive you will not see one consistent care provider throughout your whole treatment. Because IVF is so time dependent, there's no way one doctor could fulfill all the needs of your care. You may interact with a new nurse or doctor at every step. However, I found everyone was pleasant and kind. More importantly, they were extremely competent and for the most part, all my appointments ran on time. With the amount of times you are at the clinic, a quick efficient appointment is more important than seeing the same face day after day. Full disclosure, I shockingly did get pregnant after my first transfer and I gave birth last year. During my treatment at Olive, I felt very negatively about my experience. However, after reflection I realized that the care I needed to get pregnant was the care I received. And after experiencing disorganized, but personal pregnancy care where some key dates were missed by my provider, I found myself longing for the well-oiled machine at Olive!
I cannot express enough gratitude for the care and support I’ve received during my IVF journey. Dr. Mohammed Bedaiwy is truly exceptional—his knowledge, calm approach, and genuine compassion made a very emotional process feel manageable and hopeful. He takes the time to explain everything clearly and ensures you feel confident in every step of the treatment. I also want to highlight Diva, the coordinator, who has been an absolute pillar of support. Even though she works part-time, I have never once felt ignored, delayed, or unsupported. She is consistently responsive, organized, and incredibly kind. No matter how many questions or concerns I had, Diva always made sure I felt heard and taken care of. Together, Dr. Bedaiwy and Diva make an outstanding team. Their professionalism, empathy, and dedication truly set them apart. I feel very fortunate to be under their care and would highly recommend them to anyone going through this journey.
Our experience with Olive Fertility Clinic in Vancouver, especially with Dr. Lauren Whitehead and her incredible team, was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, we felt supported, understood, and cared for every step of the way. Dr. Whitehead was compassionate, knowledgeable, and took the time to create a care plan that was specifically tailored to our unique journey and needs. The entire team was empathetic, professional, and always made us feel like we were more than just patients. Their encouragement and personalized approach gave us hope during what can often be an emotional and challenging process. We are beyond grateful to say that we now have our beautiful baby boy with us, and we couldn’t have done it without the amazing support from Olive Fertility Clinic. We wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Lauren Whitehead and her team to anyone looking for fertility care that is both highly skilled and genuinely compassionate.
Renna Anand is absolutely amazing Person. She makes patient feel very comfortable and safe right away. She is incredibly responsible, patient, and professional. she truly cares about her patients. I’m so grateful for her guidance and support. I couldn’t recommend her more. Despite the busy schedule, Dr. Zhang still took the time to offer very important guidance to the patient. She is truly an angel for those who are hoping to have a baby. Her care and dedication mean so much, and we are deeply grateful for everything she does.
I had good results. We got pregnant! I would recommend anyone to come here. Just keep in mind that nothing is guaranteed, we had to go under two cycles. Both cycles with different protocols and different results. First cycle we had several eggs but only one embryo worth to transfer. On the second cycle, we got less egg but 3 great tested embryos. This is a private company so keep in mind that they need to keep doing business. Remind them about your choices, example: on the first cycle we wanted Iccsi but they forgot or didn’t do it since the sperm looked good. The genetics test also, remind them that. It seems odd but yes, you need to remind them your choices. The treat is not what you expect, specially the older receptionist, she is rude all the time. Also some Doctors when doing the ultrasound seems to be in a rush to get more patients in, or they are to abrupt telling trues. I recommend Dr Taylor, Dr Whitehead and all nurses! Remember this is a private company so money matters, be ready to do at least two cycles like me. Also recommend the acupuncture and strict diet, it did worked for our second cycle; we also had a different protocol, so, many variables to ensure if it works or not but just minimize the risk and go on strict diet and take vitamins.
