About Dr. Carl A. Laskin

Carl A. Laskin, MD, FRCPC, is the Managing Director and a founding partner of TRIO Fertility. He is internationally recognized for work in reproductive immunology and autoimmune disease in pregnancy. His clinical practice includes recurrent pregnancy loss, infertility associated with autoimmune disease, and pregnancy care for patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and other rheumatic conditions. He founded the TERM Programme and leads TRIO’s recurrent pregnancy loss program.

He earned his medical degree from McMaster University in 1975, completed internal medicine and rheumatology training at the University of Toronto in 1980, and served as a Visiting Fellow in Immunology at the National Institutes of Health from 1980 to 1983.
