Dr. VanVoorhis has been great. I had an IUI procedure today and nurse Alicia was so amazing. I don’t think I have ever had something medical related explained so thoroughly on top of telling me what she was doing and why throughout the whole thing. She has a great presence that helps you relax too. Would absolutely recommend!
The midwives are wonderful. Having received care from OBGYN doctors in the area, I wish I switched to the midwives care way sooner. Not only are they extremely knowledgeable, but they spend their time with you during visits and you will never feel rushed. They are very informative and will educate you before you have to make any medical choices. I’m so grateful for them especially Christina, Rebecca (Becky), and Amber. If you are considering a VBAC, a little research and asking questions and you will find they are the best at it in the area. The pediatricians at this location are also amazing. My children have been seeing Dr Goldenstein since birth and despite moving we still drive an hour to go see her because she’s great.
I took my friend for his colonoscopy. Such easy in/out, and close parking, which is great as I am partially disabled. Things really ran on time, was informed by nurse how he was doing. Plus had a lovely chat the entire time with a gentleman while we were both waiting! When we left, the nurse got a staff person to wheel me out along with my friend. I didn't even ask for help. Very thoughtful! I get my care at Mercy Iowa City, but will probably go here for MY colonoscopy, based on this experience.
Dr Wampler is the best doctor I've ever seen. She's smart. She's confident. She's very compassionate and she made me feel very cared for. It was a huge breath of fresh air to be treated by her. I appreciate her care and motivation to see me be well very much.
