After having my tubes cut, tied, and burned at 23, I feared my journey to motherhood was over. I traveled to Mexico in 2021 for a reversal, but back home, an HSG revealed the devastating news: both tubes had healed shut. I thought I was out of options, but against the odds, my team at PCRM successfully reopened them, they were quick with all tests and informative. When home insemination failed, we discovered my left tube had closed again. That’s when I met Dr. Liang. We moved to medicated IUIs with close monitoring. Our first attempt ended in a early miscarriage, and our second was canceled because I ovulated from the blocked side. For our third try, I followed my gut and asked for Cetrotide to prevent early ovulation. Our Dr. admitted they usually save that for IVF, but she listened to me and said, "Let’s try." It worked. I gave birth to my miracle at 41, and every hurdle was worth it. Now trying again this time will be doing IVF because of my age. I thank PCRM for helping us achieve our dreams and will forever be grateful for them. First my age 41, only 1 working tube, then to have IUI success in first and second try! That's pretty amazing

The amount of trouble, hassle, money, time, and annoyances, that this fertility clinic give you is off the charts. First, it took much too long to actually get started on the process of fertility treatments, between the appointments with the doctors and not being able to get a hold of them, to then being bounced around doctor to doctor. They charge you $24,000 for essentially a bunch of medication that they themselves have also heavily marked up in price so they can pay for the rent on their large office building on Jasper Avenue. After charging you $24,000, they then send you a bill for $775 an entire year later, stating you owe them money for Cryopreservation. We did sign off on the cryopreservation, but they have extremely shady business practices as you can see from the picture uploaded. Why would you select 'No' if something says recommended? They didn't mention ANYTHING about being charged almost $800 to keep your cells, which is incredibly misleading. They prey on your lack of energy after going through IVF treatments and the amount of paperwork they have you sign. A few other things that were pretty wild experiences - upon picking up some of the injectable medication, one of the pharmacists asks me if I had ever used an injection pen before 'kind of like Ozempic' - so essentially she was asking if I had ever been on Ozempic... NOT EVERYONE IS ON OZEMPIC and to inquire about someone's medical history like that is wild. Lastly, the nurses they have are nice, however they're not overly competent when placing IV lines. They tell you not to drink any water prior to the procedure (so they don't get sued if something happens), so I didn't - well this led to them trying for 1.5 hours to find my vein (I have small veins that collapse). Eventually they just gave up and decided on going with a different medication that makes you feel like you got hit by a truck. Once you have had the implantation procedure, they also hound you to get bloodwork done to confirm you're pregnant. This is so they can simply close the file and cross you off of a list. Whatever you do, do not go to PCRM - there are a few other different types of fertility clinics in and around Edmonton that we will be going to next time should we need this procedure done in the future.

I had a really good experience here for my endometrial biopsy I had a lot of anxiety and worries about a procedure of this nature, I am a survivor of intimate partner abuse and finding a clinic that was receptive and understanding of my needs and difficulties around receiving reproductive healthcare was hard, I was terrified I would be dismissed, not taken seriously like I have felt at other clinics during my family planning journey and I must say this clinic is excellent. From start to finish they are kind and loving, the ladies at reception always smile and remember your name(I am trans and have a different name then my birth name) and they made a point to affirm me. The dr preforming the biopsy was Doctor Ilnitsky, she explained the whole procedure and walked me through what to expect, she prescribed adequate and affirming pain and anxiety management and made me feel heard in so many ways. The nurse assisting was Vaqhaj(or something like it, my brain cannot remember atm) but she was so comforting and was there with me for the whole procedure. Even when I started to feel faint they gave me time and a moment to gather myself before the second part, if you are like me and have felt dismissed, scared to access gynaecological care, this is a great clinic. Amazing support for survivors of DV & sexual abuse, I would recommend this clinic and their doctors 100 times out of 10, they made me feel empowered in my fertility journey

When I got the referral to this clinic I was nervous as I had read the bad reviews and also had read good reviews.. so thought it will be okay. I am giving them three star reviews because staff there gets harsh with you if you bring up concerns. It has happened with me three times now. First I thought it would be one time thing. For MRI referral , just to send requisition took them 4 to 5 days. This is document I am taking about not actual appointment.. so I had called them to ask when I will get it the document they answered me with frustration. It was only one phone call I did. Second instances happen with trying to get in with HSG appointment and I was asking questions. Their answers was harsh such as this the reality this time and unable to assist to you with further accommodation.. I have gotten this answer when trying to find a solution for something.. I myself work in health care so I know how are system works and how much is the usually wait time is. People who come to the clinic , they are there because they have to ..be patience with the patient who is going through this.. To get into clinic it took 4 months total to get first appointment. Just letting people aware about the same. Please ask your doctor to give referral to other clinic as it seems they are really busy and gets frustrated with you easily. Also felt they are more interested in to see if I am open for IVF or not. even before finding out what is the actual problem is. Positive points : they have good network system and other staff who were nice to me they were very professional and understanding.. also they use network system to message you so you do not have to worry about missing their calls. Still going to continue with this clinic as I have started my journey here. Hope that people who are nice their understand and support me.

Overall the clinic was very welcoming and professional. We found that both male and female doctors did not do a full panel test on my husband's sperm until we had already decided to do IVF. This is after having multiple ineffective tests and procedures over 8 years. We could have had an 8 year old at 30, instead of an 8 month old at 38. Only with the full panel test did we know IVF with ICSI was our only real chance to conceive. Please let patients know this as part of their intake testing, and I'd advise anyone who is a patient to advocate for this.
