If I to do this again, I would chose a much smaller clinic with more individual approach. SGF - they just too big to fail. They refer patients out for anything. And they don’t care about the outcome for as long as they get a sign off that other provider is caring a liability. They just want to get more IVFs as that what makes them most money (I heard the doctor saying that to the nurses once). You will get bombarded with emails to pay your bills from the financial advisor. But when you need help - good luck finding someone useful. They would tend to brush you off as they have more “important” things on their plate. No individual approach whatsoever.

The team at SGF NY took amazing care of me during my first (and hopefully last) egg retrieval cycle. I cannot recommend SGF NY enough. Dr Romanski has a calming, reassuring bedside manner and was patient with my questions. He goes above and beyond, making sure all my personal health risk factors were evaluated before starting my cycle. The cycle was a success! I’m also really grateful for the wonderful nursing staff who were all so warm and kind. Special shout outs to Isabel who was diligent in following up on my dose adjustments every day and always remembered to check in on how my body was reacting. She’s so positive and encouraging - it really helps with the process! Sara gave me a foolproof tutorial on injections and explained how to contact my pharmacy. Jenelle made blood draws bearable and gave me tips on how to reduce bruising. Nana their in-house financial counsellor was great at helping me navigate insurance claims.

Shady Grover Fertility provided the best healthcare I have ever received. The staff was warm, informative, kind and flexible. I never felt unprepared or uncomfortable and knew that they were all invested in me getting the best outcome throughout treatment. Dr. Brauer and Dr. Romanski are phenomenal and have such a supportive clinical care team in Sara and Susan, who provided responses to any and all questions via their portal (regardless of how silly or trivial). I am so happy to have had a fertility team that made me feel supportive and like a priority throughout my treatment and even following my procedure.

I have had quite a few experiences with various fertility centers. Many of them very stressful and disappointing to say the least. Shady Grove fertility is by far the cream of the crop. Everything they do is amazing and of the highest quality and professionalism. The Doctors, Dr. Setton and Dr. Singer are fabulous. They are very in tune and aligned, and ready to find just the right recipe for you. The nurses are excellent and beyond accommodating. The communication is of the highest level and you never feel stressed or lost during this nervous time. The financial department is knowledgeable and educated, and everything is given to you in the most organized fashion. This business is an exceptional one. I would recommend anyone to try it. There are not enough wonderful words to describe the beyond excellent experience I had with Shady Grove Fertility.

Dr Singer and his team at Shady Grove are truly exceptional. I had a rare health condition and he worked around it to make sure I was safe and well taken care of. I did egg retrieval with great success and only needed one cycle. The waiting room is always busy, but you never feel like a just number. The facility is beautiful, calming, very clean, and everyone there is very professional. I hate needles and everyone is the blood draw room was so fast and painless. I can not recommend this fertility clinic enough.
