Henderson & Walton Women’s Center – Jasper

So I want to start by saying I love my doctor, Dr. Benton is amazing but the rest of the staff at Henderson and Walton are aweful. I went for my yearly last year, did not recieve any kind of bill for nearly six months and then today recieve a call from a collection service for the amount due. I do not mind paying my bill but life is busy and most of the time we dont check our mail. I have other doctors offices that send me a text or a phone call to remind me I have a bill and I get it paid. Once I paid this bill over the phone I then asked the staff if that was a possibility and Ms. Amy, in a rude tone stated "No! We don't call, you recieved four statements and you should have paid!" She was rude and cut me off when I tried to ask about it. She said they dont have the man power to call/text everyone about their bill. I understand staffing is short, however if other companies and doctors offices have been able to figure out a way to do so with the same amount of staff I do not understand why Henderson and Walton can not and how they choose to be rude to their patients. So again my doctor is amazing but this has me considering changing doctors.

Dr. Edwards was really great for prenatal with my last. Planning on using him for a long time.

I have only been on Tuesday to see Dr. Edwards. Best Doctor! The staff and the experience there is amazing. They listen and make sure you feel at home.

Dr. Swindle has been my doc since I was 15. She also delivered all of the babies in our family..she is a wonderful doctor.

The entire staff and Dr. Carol Swindle were great during my first visit! They all made me comfortable and relaxed.
