Do you love waiting? How about waiting for very long periods of time? Do you like waiting while wrapped in nothing but paper? Then, boy, do I have the office for you! Been coming to this office for approx. 10 years. Both of my children were delivered by doctors here. The doctors are fantastic. Sadly, itâs very difficult to get to see them. The wait times are consistently over an hour but itâs not uncommon for a visit to take 2-3 hours. Iâve stayed here due to the connection with my delivering hospital but, now that Iâm done having kids, Iâll be moving on to a practice that can see me in under half a business daysâ wait.
Update on 2/24/26: Got an email (?) that said they need to reschedule an upcoming appointment. Gave no reason. I called to reschedule and they sent me to voicemail. Emailed them back. Absolutely no one has reached back out to me. I have a lump in my breast and they are⦠ignoring me. How negligent can you be? Shame, shame, shame on you. Another update: after finally telling them I would not waste my time trying to reschedule an appointment that only needed to be rescheduled by them and that I would just plan on attending my appointment as originally scheduled, they responded right away with some random date and time. No talking to me to see if that time works. No discussion about why there rescheduling. No response to my request for them to fax my medical records to a new doctor because I will absolutely never trust this place to handle my health. Pathetic. Original: I have zero access to my own medical records, and all the information that Iâve gotten about my own health has come second hand from the front desk and only after I called about follow up appointments regarding something the doc never mentioned. Tried to make a patient portal to see if I could just read my lab results myself instead, and my name doesnât exist in the system apparently. This isnât just infuriating, it is unethical and unconscionable. Also they literally charge to park there. âPrivate company, nothing we can do.â The longer you wait, the more you pay. They are limiting access to care because of greed.
Dr. Lucy Sanders has been my OB-GYN for years and I genuinely canât say enough good things about her. She is incredible. Sheâs supported me through a lot over the years and has honestly been life changing for me. I trust her completely and sheâs one of those rare doctors who is both incredibly kind, personable, and also direct and efficient. I recommend her to anyone looking for womenâs health care. If you get her as your doctor, youâre in very good hands.
I am only sharing this so people can make an informed decision about seeing a doctor within this practice. I had a terrible experience here, so much so that I transferred OBâs while I was 24 weeks pregnant. I saw Doctor Hudson. From the beginning of my pregnancy he was advising me to have surgery to remove an âectopic pregnancyâ on my right side. He was advising this the day he told me I was pregnant. He was wanting to operate the next day. He also offered a shot of methotrexate. When he told me I was pregnant he was rude about it from the very beginning. He came in the room and said âwelp you are pregnantâ in a rude tone and was treating me like I was stupid and brainless. There was no ectopic pregnancy and never was, there has been a cyst on my ovary for years that I had informed him of way prior to my pregnancy. I refused because I knew that was not right. A lot happened during that time however it was proven to be a normal healthy pregnancy. One of the other doctors in the practice even told me that he asked for her opinion and she told him he was wrong from the very beginning and he STILL wanted to operate or give me a shot to terminate the pregnancy. If I would have listened to him my son would not be here. So thereâs that. Along with this he put multiple incorrect diagnoses in my chart and when asked to remove them he did not. He removed one and left the other even though I had unnecessary bloodwork to prove it was not correct. Keep in mind I fought for weeks to have it removed. Diagnoses that are far from true and caused issues within my relationship and made it hard to find another doctor mid pregnancy. For these reasons I do not recommend this practice and I especially do not recommend Doctor Dan Hudson.
I love my Doctor at Henderson and Walton. I have seen Dr. Sanders since finding out I was pregnant with my first child 6 years ago and before that I saw Dr. Ingram. I have also always had a positive experience with the nurses and between two pregnancies, I definitely saw my fair share! Unfortunately, the staff is lackluster to say the least. The receptionist change constantly, which happens, but always seems like someone is in training and doesnât have all the answers/experience needed to be efficient. I have had multiple run ins with rude staff where the urine sample/finger prick is collected. Once being when I was 36 weeks pregnant and they wanted to reprimand me about how much urine that was collected; I was huge- it was a workout even getting the sample! Another time I was told âyour fingers are too callousedâ, uh sorry? and that I needed to always take a baby aspirin before coming because it âtakes too long to get blood from meâ. If it was said in a joking manner, I would laugh right along with them, but the tone is never of that. Last time, I was scolded for not getting the lid on my sample correctly and âgot pee everywhereâ. Mind you I had put the lid on twice, and wiped it off before putting it in the basket. I apologized and then was still lectured on how to screw a lid on properly. When I got âsnippyâ I was then asked âwhat my problem wasâ and âcan I not just take criticismâ. When you are going into an OBGYN it could be the best or worst day of your life, you never know what the woman in front of you or beside you is going through but it seems the staff could care less about the sensitive department they work in and are more worried about their job running smoothly.
