About Hyo Lee, Ph.D., HCLD

Hyo Lee, PhD, HCLD, is a high-complexity clinical laboratory director who oversees Shady Grove Fertility laboratories in Colorado, Houston, Tampa Bay and Orlando. She joined SGF in 2015 and directs IVF and embryology laboratory operations, embryo culture and laboratory quality.

Dr. Lee completed master’s and doctoral training at Johns Hopkins University, combining bioengineering, biophysics and reproductive biology. Her graduate research examined egg activation in IVF and ICSI and the cytoskeletal regulation of mammalian oocyte mechanics during maturation and fertilization.
