Amy Hearne, MD

Dr. Amy Hearne is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with Advanced Reproductive Specialists and the Jacksonville Center for Reproductive Medicine. She is committed to improving women’s quality of life and helping patients build and expand their families.

Dr. Hearne graduated magna cum laude from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in pre-medicine, earned her medical degree from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, and completed a reproductive endocrinology subinternship at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She finished her obstetrics and gynecology residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in 2003. She later served as a partner at Suffolk Gynecology Group and as course director for Huntington Hospital’s OB/GYN continuing medical education program.

Her academic work includes editing The Johns Hopkins Manual of Gynecology and Obstetrics and contributing chapters on endometriosis and labor and delivery. She has also published work on HPV and tocolytic medications and participated in establishing a cervical cancer screening program in Thailand.
