ONE Fertility (Kitchener Waterloo)

My personal experience with One Fertility has been exceptional. The nurses are incredibly caring, knowledgeable, and always on top of everything. I never had any issues with Dr. Akinsooto — he is very professional, honest, and realistic, and direct. They also have a wonderful team of nurses and receptionists. I highly recommend this place!

Going through fertility treatment is such an emotional and vulnerable experience, so I was honestly nervous after reading some of the reviews here. But my experience has been nothing but amazing. Every single staff member — from reception, to the nurses, blood techs, ultrasound techs, and doctor — has been so kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. You truly feel cared for and supported every step of the way. I’m incredibly grateful for the amazing care I’ve received here. 💛

This clinic has been exceptional the past year my wife and I have been with them. We are so grateful for all Dr. Akinsooto, the nurses, lab techs, ultrasound techs, reception staff and everyone that took part in helping us to have our miracle baby. We thank you all.

Extremely disappointed at this place. I need to be fair and say that we were always treated with the utmost respect and ethic, but that's about it. Trying to talk to the clinic is an impossible task, they will never pick up the phone and many of the times will never return you calls. The doctor was always over 2 hours late for the appointments and would talk to us for 5 minutes. They never asked about my health history or anything else before suggesting IVF, the only explanation was that I'm too old (I was 39). But the worst part came at the end of the process, we paid $3500 for embryo storage and genetic test, but since my IVF procedure was not successful they need to refund this amount to us. Mission impossible. In January a lady called me and I let her know I wanted my money back because I wasn't doing another treatment, a month later I talked to them again and to my surprise they never filed my request for refund. They said that in 4 weeks I would get the refund. Fast forward for 5 weeks after, still didn't get anything. Been leaving messages for 10 days now, and when they finally returned my call yesterday it was just to say they needed to check something and will have to call me back, which never happened. So tired of this place and the struggle to communicate with them. If you have the chance, go somewhere else.

I am completely disappointed with this fertility clinic. In the short time I was there I was asked to cancel/reschedule an appointment because someone elses appointment was more important than mine. They never had availability for ultrasounds that were required based upon my history. However, wanted to move forward with 'treatment' without having all of the information. It all felt like a big revolving door and they had too many patients to give time and energy into proper care and planning.
