About Rene B. Allen, MD
René B. Allen, MD, FACOG, is the founder of Santa Barbara Fertility Center, established in 2008, and a reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialist focused on personalized fertility care. His clinical and research interests include embryo implantation, markers of embryo development, preimplantation genetic testing, male-factor infertility, and tubal surgery.
Dr. Allen completed medical school and obstetrics and gynecology residency training at the University of California, Irvine, followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
