About Mousa Shamonki, MD

Dr. Mousa Shamonki is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and obstetrician-gynecologist. He earned his medical degree and completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Vermont, then completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Cornell University. Following fellowship, he spent a year at Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey performing high-volume fertility ultrasounds and procedures.

Dr. Shamonki joined UCLA in 2006 and helped develop its IVF program. He served as Director of IVF and Assisted Reproduction from 2007 to 2013 and later as an Associate Clinical Professor of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. His clinical work includes infertility evaluation and treatment, IVF and other assisted reproductive technologies.
