About Janet McLaren Bouknight, MD, MSCE

Janet McLaren Bouknight, MD, MSCE, is a reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist with Alabama Fertility. She earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School, completed a combined obstetrics and gynecology residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, and completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology. Before joining Alabama Fertility, she served on the UAB faculty and directed its IVF and fertility preservation programs. Her clinical focus includes IVF, infertility treatment, reproductive surgery, pelvic pain and reproductive endocrine disorders.
