About James Stelling, MD
Dr. James R. Stelling is a dual board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist and the director of Island Fertility in Commack, New York. He is also a board-certified High Complexity Laboratory Director and works closely with the clinic’s embryology team.
He earned his medical degree at Stony Brook University School of Medicine, completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency at Stony Brook University Medical Center, and completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at Harvard Medical School. His clinical and research interests include fertility preservation, oocyte vitrification, semen cryopreservation, preimplantation genetic testing, uterine anomalies, and diminished ovarian reserve.
