About Pierre Asmar, MD, FACOG
Pierre Asmar, MD, FACOG, is the founder and Medical Director of Washington Fertility Center. He has provided fertility care in the Washington metropolitan area since 1983.
Dr. Asmar completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis and a board-approved fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Washington University in St. Louis, where he also served as an instructor. He previously held a clinical instructor appointment at the University of Minnesota.
He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. His expertise includes IVF, donor egg treatment, laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, myomectomy, and microsurgical tubal ligation reversal.
