About Lusine Aghajanova, MD

Lusine Aghajanova, MD, PhD, is a Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Stanford Medicine. She directs Stanford’s REI fellowship and Third Party Reproduction program, with clinical and research interests in endometrial receptivity, implantation, endometriosis, access to reproductive care, and third-party family building.

Dr. Aghajanova earned her medical degree and completed obstetrics and gynecology residency training at Yerevan State Medical University, then earned a PhD in Human Implantation and completed embryology training at Karolinska Institute. After a UCSF postdoctoral fellowship, she completed additional OB-GYN residency training at Baylor College of Medicine and UCSF and an REI fellowship at UCSF. She speaks Russian and Armenian.
