About Gaya Murugappan, MD
Gayathree “Gaya” Murugappan, MD, is a dual board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and obstetrician-gynecologist at Spring Fertility Silicon Valley. Before joining Spring, she practiced at Stanford University School of Medicine, where she served as Associate Director of the reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship and Director of the ROSE Reproductive Biobank.
Dr. Murugappan earned a biomedical engineering degree at Johns Hopkins University and her medical degree, cum laude, through the Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences and Technology. She completed both residency and fellowship training at Stanford University. Her interests include recurrent pregnancy loss, endometriosis, PCOS, fertility preservation, male-factor infertility, and clinical research. She speaks Spanish and Tamil.
