About Christo Zouves, MD
Dr. Christo G. Zouves is a reproductive medicine specialist with more than 35 years of experience. His work has included IVF, ovulation induction, oocyte retrieval, embryo cryopreservation, cytogenetic analysis, male factor infertility, pregnancy-loss immunology, ICSI, egg freezing, preimplantation genetic testing, and embryo transfer.
He studied medicine at the University of Cape Town, completed obstetrics and gynecology and general surgery training through the Royal Colleges in London, and trained in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the University of British Columbia. He later served as medical director of the University of British Columbia IVF program and opened the Zouves Fertility Center in 1999.
