Andrea Peterson, MD

Andrea Peterson, MD, MSCR, FACOG, is a double board-certified reproductive endocrinologist at Coastal Fertility Specialists in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Her patient care and research address fertility treatment outcomes, healthcare disparities, and the effects of language preference on reproductive care.

Dr. Peterson attended the College of Charleston Honors College and earned both her medical degree and a Master of Science in Clinical Research at the Medical University of South Carolina. She completed residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at UT Southwestern/Parkland Hospital and a three-year fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Her clinical interests include IVF, IUI, fertility preservation, LGBTQ+ family building, donor conception, and gestational carrier care.
