Andrea Hoshmand McAfee

Andrea Hoshmand McAfee is the founder and director of the Surrogacy Center of Philadelphia. She is a surrogacy professional rather than a physician. Her work in assisted reproduction began more than twenty years ago through her own experience as a three-time egg donor.

After graduating from the Questrom School of Business and the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, Andrea worked in the federal government before returning to Hawaii. In 2008, she founded the Hawaii Surrogacy Center, the first provider of surrogacy services in the state. Over the following decade, she developed relationships with fertility clinics and assisted-reproduction legal professionals in Hawaii, across the United States, and internationally. She later established the Surrogacy Center of Philadelphia and Chesapeake Surrogacy Center to provide personal case management and support for intended parents and gestational surrogates.
