Amy Schutt, MD

Dr. Amy Schutt is a reproductive endocrinologist at Texas Fertility Center who provides comprehensive, individualized infertility care. She earned a biology degree from the University of Virginia and her medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha.

Dr. Schutt completed her obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at the University of Virginia Health System, serving as chief resident. She then completed fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and earned a master’s degree in clinical investigation at Baylor College of Medicine. She remained on Baylor’s faculty for six years and served as the reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellowship program director.

Her clinical and research interests include PCOS and insulin resistance, fertility preservation, oncofertility, egg freezing, LGBTQ+ family building, carrier screening, ovarian stimulation, and factors affecting fertility-treatment outcomes.
