About Alexandra Gannon, M.D.
Dr. Alexandra Gannon is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. She earned her medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Wake Forest School of Medicine, and pursued fellowship training in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Baylor College of Medicine. During fellowship, she also earned a master’s degree in clinical investigation.
Dr. Gannon was drawn to reproductive medicine by its combination of women’s healthcare, genetics, and research. Her publications and presentations have addressed oncofertility, polycystic ovary syndrome, and the effects of stress during fertility treatment. She provides care through Shady Grove Fertility at its Reston and Fair Oaks locations in Virginia.
