If I could give this place negative ten stars, I would. It is one of the worst places I've ever done "business" with. First, it's impossible to get a hold of anyone. As other reviewers have mentioned, NO ONE RETURNS CALLS. Second, the doctors are very, very far scheduled out. And this caused a massive issue for us. We had our first appointment last May (15th). Our follow-up was scheduled for AUGUST (20th), over three months after the first appointment. In our first appointment, Dr. Peterson told us what tests we'd run, but he didn't give us a game plan. We needed the test results first. I did all of the tests, got the results in, and we realized we didn't have time to waste, based on my results. (Very low AMH.) The nurses agreed that we couldn't afford to wait three more months. I asked them what we should do. One of them grabbed Dr. Peterson in the hallway, and he said IUI, based on my results. We paid for TWO ROUNDS of it. We ended up canceling the second IUI on the day it was supposed to happen (after I'd done the trigger shot and the prep meds and everything) because we had our follow-up with Dr. Peterson that morning. And guess what he said? "IUI is a terrible idea for you. It will end in miscarriage. You need to do IVF." Then WHY did he recommend we do IUIs in the first place? At that point, we decided to go with Dr. Richards of Utah Fertility Specialists. He is absolutely phenomenal and much cheaper for IVF, plus he gives you his cell number and you can text him any time you have questions. I had my consultation with him literally the day I called him. We talked for over an hour. The next issue that makes me wish I could give Utah Fertility Center negative ten stars: My husband had dropped a sperm sample off last summer as a backup in case a fresh sample wasn't good enough. (We like to be thorough over here.) We asked them to dispose of it. But they started charging us a $50/month storage fee, regardless. He's called them FIVE TIMES requesting that they dispose of the sample and stop charging us, and here we are in April, and it's still going on. It's an absolute joke. We've canceled his debit card and are hoping that'll do the trick. The nurses here are really amazing, if you can ever get a hold of them. Beyond that, though, we're incredibly dissatisfied with the service we received.

After multiple failed IVF losses, we finally decided to switch to different clinic. We interviewed many doctors from out of state and felt confident we made the right choice with Dr. Conway. This review is not written based on her care but for the general disorganization and communication issues of the staff at Utah Fertility Center. After our initial consultation with Dr. Conway, there was silence/no follow up. So I reached out to the office and asked for next steps to proceed- I was just told to call the office on the first day of my period. Since it was a Saturday, I left a message via the portal. I called again on the following Monday, and since I could not get a hold of anyone I left more voicemails and messages on the portal. Another call was made the next day, as well as messages left on the portal, voicing my concern since I know from experience, baseline ultrasound/bw is usually made day 3-4 of cycle. Finally, I get a call back and although she was apologetic, she said that I would have to wait until next cycle to start the process, since essentially it would be too late to do it this cycle (what?!) She said I still had to meet with my nurse coordinator (who wasn't available until NEXT WEEK... what the heck?!) Literally have done everything they told me to do but due to complete disorganization of their staff everything has to be pushed back. Why should I be the one chasing them down trying to get a hold of someone? As I've said, we've been through IVF for over 3 years and this is by far the worst experience.... and we haven't even got the chance to start the process yet! Just leaves a really horrible taste in your mouth. We are cash pay and this just makes me want to take our money elsewhere!!

My doctor referred me here for a procedure. I was told that they would not bill my insurance because I was referred by an outside physician and had to be an established patient. They quoted a private pay rate. Seems sketchy and like something that would affect their insurance contract. When I told my doctor the situation she was happy to refer me to conceptions fertility instead and I had no problems with them.

I'm not normally one to write a google review, but I really feel the need to share my experience with UFC. I started there 3 years ago and have "seen" two different doctors there. In those 3 years, I only spoke to the actual doctors a total of 3 times. The lack of communication is absolutely horrible, which should never be the case with such a specialty clinic. Most recently, we experienced a loss over the holidays. I went to UFC for all the blood work they wanted to check, and when they called me with results, they told me they couldn't actually talk about one of the test results, as I'd have to "wait to talk to the doctor about that one." I asked if she would be available for a call to go over it, and they said I had to wait til my next appointment which was TWO MONTHS OUT. I asked if she could just do a quick call so we could at least discuss the number and they said she didn't have time for that and I had to wait for my appointment. Remember, I've been a consistent patient there for THREE YEARS... not a new patient. I've had 3 losses in the last 2 years, and they have never once recommended any additional testing to do a deep dive in to what could be causing the losses, only kept saying I should "just do IVF instead." My husband and I finally decided to make the switch to a different clinic in Utah and have already felt a world of difference in patient care and communication. I even receive text messages from the doctor's private cell phone, as he wants to ensure his patients feel cared for and not ignored. They are running a whole slew of tests and exams to see if they can figure out WHY we keep losing pregnancies, and said they want to wait to go in to IVF until they are able pinpoint that issue. I'm grateful I made the switch, and only hope UFC can do better in the future for other couples trying to build their families.
