Maybe it’s just the doctor (which I forget her name) I was assigned to and others are better but I would highly encourage against this facility, sadly. I went for one appointment and will not go back. I felt like just another number there. Navigating fertility struggles is already so hard and such a vulnerable time/experience- so to go to a facility that specializes in that I was expecting more care and compassion. I’m pursuing other avenues before finding another fertility clinic- hoping and praying we can conceive naturally. I am starting to work with functional doctors to get more answers. This facility doesn’t care about WHY you’re not getting pregnant, their only job is to get you pregnant- and me going there helped me realize I want to know WHY we’re struggling first before pursuing fertility treatments. My experience at UNC Fertility truly was so bad and I left feeling so down. If it comes to we need to pursue fertility treatments, I will be going elsewhere. I would suggest saving your time, money, and emotional well being and go elsewhere.

My experience with this center was very disappointing. To say the least, if I could give them 0 starts, I would. Please read this review if you are planning to do IVF with them. I had my appointments and everything was going fine until 1 week prior. I was already taking birth control and I was already prepping everything for my cycle. My mom had a flight from England, I had gotten my weeks off from work, I had to get extra help to do the injections. In brief, everything was set on my side. One week before I started I received a message from my nurse -casually- canceling my cycle and telling me I was going have to wait for the next start day. The amount of ANXIETY this woman put me through is unexplainable. She said it was because SGF was going to take too long to release my results. No options explained, no question if maybe I had the results myself? Nothing. Just canceling it. I freaked out and started calling. No answer, I called the financial department and asked for a refund (surprisingly the only people that answer). I would never ever recommend this establishment to anyone going through such a vulnerable time in their life. The lack of compassion is extreme. After I reply in the portal message asking what could I do, I also told them that I had the results, or if they wanted I could redo all the testing if needed they took 2 wholes days to message me back saying that if I had the results that would be fine. By then I was already back at SGF. Which I love and have given me the most compassionate care throughout this though times. Learn from me, cheaper is not better (the reason why I tried this and didn’t stick with SGF was because it was less $$) This is an expensive journey, but save your mental health too. Despite the rough reviews, by hubs and I transferred here after 2 years at another fertility clinic. The bar was low for us given our last clinic, but we have been BLOWN AWAY at UNCF. And I’m a Duke fan. From day 1, I have felt that the docs really wanted to know me and my history to find solutions to issues instead of finding Valinda’s to temporarily circumvent issues. These docs are LOVELY. I have mostly seen two doc, but have had experiences with 4. Absolutely love the docs!! They are patient, knowledgeable, caring, concerned, and more. I have never had any issues with not getting timely responses on results, questions, scheduling, Amir anything else. Has 100% of the time been within a business day. If you’re hesitant, just give it a try. Shout out to Dr Milroy who is the best! Always good to connect with your doc. And Dr Steiner has also been great making me feel I’m in good hands.

*As person who works in healthcare, I am quite particular & did heaps of research who I’m going to consult / see as my doctor esp. fertility issues. After reading lots of reviews & asking healthcare insiders- Dr. Marc Fritz came highly recommended. Husband & I came to see him one fine day & I’ll tell you- Dr. Fritz is not only extremely knowledgeable but he came across as a kind, caring & compassionate individual, explained information in easy to remember & understandable way in a well-paced time. He answered all our questions in a respectable manner. Plus, he was quick-thinking in a sense that on that day I had blood test for diagnostic/genetic testing (saves time & effort). I highly recommend the truly great Dr. Fritz! Thank you Dr. for all that YOU do! You rock! 👏👏👏 * The UNC Fertility Clinic - strategically-located, clean, practiced COVID-protocols. Easy to make appointment. Front Desk staff ANNA - was helpful & accomodating.👏👏👏 *PATRICE - the phlebotomist, great manners & excellent @ what she do.👏👏 Drawn my blood successfully on the first attempt - vein sharpshooter!😀 Summing up, UNC Fertility Clinic - thumbs up!👍👍👍 📌Kindly like if you find this review helpful. Thanks.
