The judges make the most disgusting decisions that harm the lives of children and families

I have been dealing with my mother’s estate for over a year and the clerks in the surrogate court have been very friendly, patient and extremely helpful both in person and on my many phone calls throughout the process. I have not even needed an attorney, they have walked me through every step of the way. I’m very grateful to them!

The employees, in the surrogate office are very lazy and rude. Every time they tell you that you need to have a paper signed and when you get it signed there’s always another step. One of the employees were trying to call me a “liar” and also, they weren’t interested or enthused about doing there job. These workers are also very sarcastic. The humility I have to face at his office is a shame! Customers behind me were telling me to speak to the supervisor (Rose) because she is very nice. Every other worker in that facility will not cooperate with you, smile at you, or even ask how your doing. Very embarrassing and humiliating moment for me. The supervisor told me on the phone what steps needed to be taken and another worker was telling me a different situation. This office is very disorganized, humiliating, toxic, inconsistent, unsupportive, and very biased towards people of Monroe County. Will not recommend this place for anyone.

The Clerks at this office have been very helpful!! They answered all of my questions and helped me with the needed forms along the way.
