Reviews

I'm not one to typically leave a review but after this experience I feel the need to share with others. Our insurance said this was the only provider "in-network" I called to make an appointment and was asked to make a $100 non-refundable deposit which felt like a bit of red flag. I decided to ask some more questions if they take insurance why I need to pay this and for more information on the price of their services. I was transferred to the front desk where I left multiple voicemails with no call back. When I finally reached back out and got in touch with someone who didn't even apologize or acknowledge I had left multiple voicemails with no callback they told me they are not able to provide pricing for their services because they are not "medical" but any other clinic or facility I've called has been able to provide a pricing range for their services. They then transferred me to a nurse to provide pricing which seems strange but at no surprise was left with their voicemail. If I could give zero stars I would. Having not even been a patient at this facility the lack of communication, lack of customer service, lack of clear communication on pricing, and the non refundable deposit just to make an appointment is enough to make us pay out of pocket at a different location. This journey is already challenging on top of dealing with a clinic that lacks everything is too much.

There is no doubt this clinic has bias and only cares about your money and not your success. We were told invocell was not a viable option until ally bank approved my loan. when i reached out knowing this, they were suddenly excited to do the procedure. We thought we were happy until the doctor stopped my wifes meds with our first transfer of our perfect embryo. It failed. Our second transfer was even worse, they messed our other embyos in the process of freezing and gave us a 10 percent chance of pregnancy, but this time continued the meds, and we were pregnant. This pregnancy did end up failing because of the error in freezing which was explained to us in a language we did not understand, but looking back I cannot help to think, what my baby would like today if this doctor had taken us more seriously!?

The good: If you dont have insurnace, this is a great place for you. Dr Smith is a little cold but very knowledgeable and knows what she is doing. The nursing staff is excellent. Eileen, the IUI nurse, is the best. She is very responsive, she doesn't miss a beat! Dr. Anna is very kind, understanding, and intelligent. The knowledge they have is top-notch. I have no issues with that. The nurses and medical techs are great. The bad: The practices of how this clinic does billing is why I will not be using them moving forward. They are actually rude about it and often blame patients and say thing like "most patients dont understand how their insurance works." It's insulting. Here is the big thing... they will guess what you will owe after insurance and will collect that up front, or they won't see you. This is not typical. Usually, you have medical treatment, claims are submitted, and then you pay the balance of what the coinsurance comes back as. Now, they are transparent and tell you this. I had faith for a while....how bad could they mess it up? Im telling they will mess it up, and you will need to be your own advocate and follow and track ALL bills, or they will overcharge you. If you are okay with this method of antiquated billing methods, then by all means, use them. However, personally, I found billing to be too big of an issue to stay. Im happy I kept vigilant records because, in the end, they ended up owing me money. Viri is terrible to work with, its like working with a toddler. I think I actually lost IQ points trying to explain simple math to her. Priness, who is in charge of sending medical records to other doctors and clinics is a real piece of work, too. Prepare yourself for major delays and having to really stay on top of her to ensure she sends them. In summary, they have medical knowledge and compassion. Billing and using insurance is a nightmare. Requesting medical records to be sent to another practice will take forever and is ultimately the reason for this review.

Hi there everyone, I just want to start off by saying, this is the first time I have ever wrote a review for a company before, but I want people to understand and know the truth about Dr. Smith and this clinic. I understand the important components of running a business, things like providing excellent customer service, not being rigid in business transactions and always putting the customer first. I can honestly say that does not happen at Rocky Mountain fertility. Yes, I understand by the time couples visit a fertility clinic, it's likely their last option to start a family. Dr. Smith knows couples are desperate and all they want is to hold a child in their arms no matter the cost. This clinic is solely focused on the almighty dollar. I would highly recommend a different clinic, we did and we are very grateful to find a clinic that is focused on the customer, not how much the customer is willing to pay.

Called ahead to make sure my insurance would cover the procedure that I needed. I was assured my insurance would be accepted. Upon arriving at the center, I was told it would be self pay. If they are incapable of getting something so simple correctly, I do not trust them to properly run a test. The "owner" response is a complete fabrication. When scheduling the appointment, insurance was discussed. Why would an appointment be made without discussing the cost associated with it? It's less pathetic to admit to your mistakes than double down and lie.
