Reproductive Care Centre (Mississauga)

None of the staff are ever on the same page and provide the wrong information. There's a huge lack of communication amongst themselves and with their patients. I've had to call and email multiple times and talk to multiple people any time I needed to follow up from an appointment or imaging, and still not get the right information. It's incredibly frustrating when you're trying to navigate your health and the people who are supposed to help you, don't.

The clinic has gone downhill and pretty fast over the last 2 years. The first rodeo with them in 2023-2024 was much much better, there was prompt care from the doctor and the nurses (Dr Dan Nayot), and we liked it so much we went back for our second. This time, the doctor was good but the front office staff is horrendous, appointment bookings were missed, no follow ups, wife had to call 4-5 times via email, calls and msgs even to get attention. They even did not send in the referral to the OBGYN office, which they mentioned they did or will do. We waited for 5 weeks (left messages constantly with the front office staff, never got a reply), and on checking with the OB’s office realized they never got a referral, and mentioned we were too late to get referred now! After much pleading we got in. All because the front office staff is incompetent even with multiple follow ups. I wouldn’t want such staff for something non critical like even retail, let alone a pregnancy clinic. It almost felt like they did not care about us, because we dint need IVF and had a natural pregnancy, and they were no longer going to make any money from us! Absolutely horrendous.

My experience at this clinic was disappointing. I was treated like a number than a human being. Communication is poor, no empathy and when concerns were raised, there was no accountability. IVF is already an emotionally intense experience, and this clinic made the process more overwhelming rather than supportive. A clinic should reduce that burden not add to it. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was genuinely worried and asked RCC if they could do an ultrasound just to make sure everything was okay with the baby. Instead of any reassurance or help, I was told they don’t do ultrasounds on the weekend and to just go to emergency. This was frustrating, especially since the nurse had clearly told us that if we had any problems or concerns, we should reach out. When we did exactly that, we were brushed off and redirected elsewhere. It felt dismissive and inconsistent with what we were told to expect. Also this isn’t the first one it’s the 3rd time and still they act like this.

Dr Jennifer Lam and her team work like robots. You cannot expect a proactive and empathetic communication from them in our experience. The humane care and communique is missing. They treat you like you are just numbers. We were referred to this team but the experience has been a nightmare. Hope they improve, or I plan to see other clinics soon.
