Storage fees grow uncurbed every year. Procedure wise, they are content on sitting on a lot of data and not really understanding at a patient level why certain drugs act in certain ways. They love averages, and averages often don't do the trick for individual care.

I came to this clinic because there seems to be a doctor here that specializes in my use case. Unfortunately, I have had multiple, separate poor experiences over the past couple of engagements that I finally had to cancel my appointments to work with a different organization. This company is completely unorganized, unfriendly, unhelpful, and siloed. In this modern world, having a completely fragmented experience is unacceptable. Some examples: -Their tech stack is sub-par - half the time their app and video calls do not work. -On multiple occasions, the appointments that were scheduled were rescheduled without my consent or were no longer available -The communication of choice is calls-only and only sometimes do they leave a voicemail, so if you miss something that’s on you -The front desk has a *your shit out of luck* attitude and completely unfriendly in such a sensitive industry. There seems to be no consideration that people shift their lives around for these appointments to only have been moved. -i’ve tried to write my care team about this feedback directly asking to speak with my Dr about this, and she never responded to me I tried to power through because finding another organization takes time, but the stress of this fragmented experience has forced me to look elsewhere. i highly recommend you save yourself the trouble and start off with someone else out of the gate.

It’s not an easy decision for us to write a negative review here because we have put too much into this fertility journey with PFC. The staff was nice and responsive. Dr. Ryan is cold and blunt, and lack of empathy. We only care about the results. We are warning every body here because we have ZERO success after three years of treatment and spending over $80k there. This clinic is purely profit driven and does not care about its patients. Specifically for Dr. Ryan, as the director for the donor egg program, she clearly has no ideal the quality of eggs they were getting and selling to patients. We feel scammed, pretty badly. The last straw is our failed donor FET cycle. After four rounds of failed IUI, one failed IVF, Dr Ryan(Director of the donor egg program) suggested using donor eggs. We looked at the statistics and decided to give it a try, thought we were at the end of the tunnel. We purchased two lots of frozen eggs from Pacific Egg Bank, donated by a young and healthy donor. The 12 “young and healthy” eggs yielded only ONE genetically normal embryo, which did implant but stopped growing at 6 weeks. Dr’s own words “due to health issues with the embryo itself”. That said, 12 young and healthy donor eggs yielded ZERO healthy embryos. This is an unreasonably low number that means something is wrong (look online it’s easy to find). The 12 eggs cost $32k, the embryo creation and transfer caused $13k in total. We believe something must have gone very wrong in the process. Low quality eggs - of course. The Pacific Egg Bank apparently doesn’t know anything about the donor or eggs, or they just don’t care enough about the patients. We asked for the donor’s history of transfer success before the FET. The egg bank would not tell us anything. They alleged they were “protecting the donor’s privacy”. They just collect our money and all the risk is on the patient. When we asked Dr. Ryan why the number is so low, she said it’s due to the uncertainty of the process. THAT’S IT! Besides the low quality eggs, something must have gone very wrong in the process. We don’t know whether it was the donor, the lab, the retrieval process, or whatever. We can never find out. At the second ultrasound that confirmed the embryo didn’t make it, Dr Ryan showed no empathy, only said “unfortunately it didn’t grow.” I don’t know if the outcome would have been different with another doctor at PFC. It is a boutique clinic, quick to take your money, and offers no guarantee or empathy. PFC does not care about the patients - not if they become parents. Every one is just a number under their standard procedure. There is a lot of other fertility services in the Bay Area, try them too. At least get a second opinion. We are done with PFC.

This review is long overdue. My husband and I received treatment with Dr. Li. She was wonderful! We went through two rounds of IVF. I’m 44 yrs old, we began our egg retrieval process when I was 43. Most fertility clinics would strongly recommend using donor eggs at my age, but Dr. Li never pressured me. She encouraged that I try with my own eggs. Thank god I did, we were able to get 2 Euploid embryos out of our 2 Egg retrievals. We transferred our 1st embryo last July, and I had BIG 10 lb baby boy the end of March! We received incredible care the entire time we were there. All of the nurses, medical staff, and all of the doctors were always so kind, knowledgeable and caring. I’m looking forward to transferring our 2nd embryo with Dr. Li next year. I am so grateful for this clinic and its staff! Highly recommend!!
