Disclaimer: My wife and I are expecting our first child after completing IVF with NFI, so the process has been a success for us. That being said, the entire process of IUI and IVF is stressful enough as-is, and NFI just adds onto that stress. We're blessed to have IVF covered through our insurance, but we still had to come out of pocket over $10k for various tests, medications, unexpected fees, etc. It was a common occurance to arrive for one of our appointments and be told we owe $100-$300, due immediately, for some undiscussed reason. They would often fail to send time sensitive prescriptions to our pharmacies in a timely manner, leading to us scrambling between NFI, insurance, and the pharmacy to get necessary medications to continue our process. They have the worst timing. You can tell them months in advance that you're not available to do XYZ part of the process/cycle for one week in the next 6 months, and they'll seemingly intentionally schedule critical care moments during that week. This happened multiple times, so it wasn't a one off. The doctors and nurses are friendly but often make mistakes or do not listen to patients. As examples: One time they stuck my wife in both arms and both hands to get an IV line going, blowing her veins and causing pain for weeks. Giving incomplete or incorrect results over the phone. Not listening during the IVF procedures to my wife's levels of discomfort, something that could have been easily remedied but was ignored. Just to list a few more negative experiences: They would constantly send our medications to the wrong pharmacy when we'd remind them each time that our insurance only covers a certain pharmacy for specialty meds. We'd have to spend hours canceling the order at the wrong pharmacy so that the correct one could process the prescription. They used to have decent communication but it got steadily worse over the years. The final straw was when they switched to using a 3rd party answering service that isn't in office and not a part of the nursing staff. They're terrible and will transfer you endlessly and refuse to connect you to the on-staff agents. As for the positives: The office is nice and clean. Everyone in the office is friendly when in person, especially the front desk. They're knowledgeable about the procedures and can obviously get results but they'll make you pull your hair (and wallet) out every step of the way. We're grateful that the IVF process has come so far, and NFI helped us achieve something we never could on our own, but they really need a revamp of almost every process and training they have or they'll continue to hurt and burn their clients.

Please do not use this place if you want any kind of reassurance during your cycle or don't feel comfortable just googling the whole time. There is almost zero communication. No additional information given. Questions unanswered. No explanations on anything. Just a general directive on what to do/when. I'm so disappointed. You are just a $ on their balance sheet and if you don't want to feel like that then go somewhere else. Normally at any other Dr office or clinic I expect someone to call me after a procedure to discuss the results - do not expect this here. I refrained from writing this review, but just received another bill from my labs that I was not expecting. People in other reviews praise the Dr, maybe that is true if you even meet them. But I certainly did not. Just a hello before my going under prior to surgery.

DO NOT STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE. Dr. Duke and her staff are the most impersonal, unprofessional, and insensitive group of people that I’ve ever met. They don’t care about you or your delicate situation. They just want your money. Don’t be fooled by their “package” rates. Trust me, there will be additional out of pocket expenses each step of the way. It doesn’t make sense providing your insurance information either because they will submit bills for additional labs outside of the package without informing you and list you as having no insurance. You will be on the phone with labs and pharmacies trying to submit your own insurance information and chasing after the office for prior authorizations over and over even though they claim to have communicated with the pharmacy. Their system is rushed and disorganized which left me paying out of pocket for medications just to get them in time to start the cycle because they give you the calendar and expect you to start medications in a day or two which is almost impossible when dealing with specialty pharmacies, insurance, prior authorizations. Most of the staff is unhelpful. Your interaction with Dr. Duke is basically virtual other than for the egg retrieval. She is impossible to contact other than for procedures. It is the most impersonal experience. Even her staff apologize on her behalf and agree that the processes are ridiculous. The finance department cannot do anything but harass you to pay bills. They can’t submit claims correctly. They always list the Pateint as “self-pay,”’or “no insurance,” which amazed me because they were so adamant about me sending the insurance cards of both me and my husband at the start. However, they never used this information when submitting claims. Bottom line: STAY FAR AWAY! Go somewhere else for your infertility evaluation and treatments. This place is HORRIBLE!!!

Horrible service. It is very unfortunate that such a great Dr has such a horrible staff coordinating her office. I really wanted an opportunity to work with Dr Duke but her staff made it impossible; from lack of communication, speaking to 2-3 people and never getting transferred to a person that could help. Not getting calls back per requested, lying about not receiving email communications, lying about speaking to other providers on behalf, submitting insurance authorizations and not canceling them after they did not occur. I told them I did not want to proceed and 3 months later they decided to proceed with paperwork involving my other clinic. I wish I would have received a phone call like requested and I wouldn’t have to be sharing this on here.

Absolutely love this place and the staff. Cindy Duke is very compassionate, she actually listens to you. She is by far the best doctor I have ever met. Her entire staff is very pleasant and caring and always tries to answer all your questions. IVF is a hard process as it is and having a staff that’s there to listen and try to help is extremely important. Would recommend this clinic to anyone.
