I went to Dr. Ostrom after bleeding for 3 months straight. I had seen other OB/GYNs that told me my only option was hormonal birth control. Dr. Ostrom respected my decision to not take BC and helped me with my PCOS with a single visit more than years of visits with other doctors. A genuinely fantastic and one of a kind doctor. I wrote this review about a year ago and Ostrom has continued to help me in ways I didn't know where possible. Since that initial visit for the first time in my life, I had regularly timed cycles. She performed two surgeries on me relating to extreme menstrual pain and for the first time EVER I started my cycle without even knowing because there was no severe pain. Historically, I have had to spend anywhere between half a day to 4 days curled up in a ball in bed and I am now able to spend my life doing the things I need and want to do during those days. I cannot thank her and her staff enough for how much they have improved my quality of life.

We moved to Homer for Dr Ostrom because we heard such great things and everything we heard was true! She was the best doctor I’ve ever had and went above and beyond looking out for me and my pregnancy. She heard my concerns in every appointment and had such a positive approach to my care. My pregnancy was high risk and I had a lot (a lot a lot) of anxiety with it, but I felt like I could trust Dr Ostrom and her advice. I really loved the on demand mentality of care (texting was such a gift) that I received from this team, it helped me get through the hard moments. If you are looking for an OBGYN who will empower you and won’t ever shame you she’s the best. I think the least judgmental person I’ve ever met. I seriously wish she could be my doctor for everything. I’m holding the most precious baby thanks to the hard work and wisdom of this doctor and her team. You will love all of them!

Dr. Ostroms office is comfortable and welcoming. The entire staff is great, and Dr. Ostrom especially goes out of her way to make sure each patient is well taken care of. She listens so well to each concern you can tell she genuinely cares about each person that walks into her office. Not to mention she’s brilliant and so good at what she does! I trust her 100%. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Katie Ostrom is by far the best Dr. I have ever met. Her bedside manner surpasses all. My husband and I were looking for a specialist to help us conceive. We had been struggling for two years and Dr. Ostrom came highly recommended. Our first appointment with her my husband and I both left her office discussing what an amazing Dr. she is and how were were thrilled to begin our journey. Ostrom helps you in the most delicate way. She takes things at your pace, she listens to you, and she is so uplifting in every way. She also makes herself available to you and stays in touch throughout your journey. This is super important to us and has been amazing. We’re still in our journey but we couldn’t be any happier to be working with Dr. Ostrom.
