It’s hard to even know where to start when it comes to talking about Dr. C and the IVF team because they’re truly all remarkable, one of a kind people. From the beginning of my first appointment with Dr. C I knew he was different than most doctors, and he proved that about himself time after time. He never seemed perplexed about anything that didn’t work, and he always had a plan. Throughout the almost 18 months I spent in his care, I truly felt like he was always thinking about me and how to help me achieve a pregnancy. I have had friends who went through treatment at other facilities, and they get responses to failure with “I don’t know why”. Dr. C always knew how to pivot and test more and research more. I call him my favorite mad scientist! As for the Team, they are always there to answer questions and respond to your texts and they always do it with a smile on their face. The care I received at IVF Phoenix was unmatched on many levels. I didn’t feel like just a number here, I felt heard and seen. Going through infertility is a horrible and exhausting thing, but this team will hold your hand through it all. I’ll forever be grateful for this team, and the 27 weeks I have spent pregnant thus far!

With infertility, nearly everything is awful until it isn’t. You can be inundated with bad news and disappointment. That’s why it’s crucial to have a team behind you like Dr. Couvaras and IVF Phoenix. One of the best things about Dr. C is his honesty. He will be up front with you about the challenges you will face, and equally important, when it is time to change directions and try something else. He doesn’t just stick to the same protocol every round; he carefully evaluates how things went and makes adjustments to increase your chances of success. The road to our son was long, at times heartbreaking, and looked nothing like what I imagined. Dr. C. didn’t give up on me and suggested the alternative treatments that ultimately resulted in our little man. The staff at IVF Phoenix is amazing. They held me when I cried (which was a lot), called to check on my physical and emotional well-being, and became like extended family. You could not ask for a better clinic.
