I cannot express enough gratitude for Dr. Kuo and his incredible team. If you are looking for a fertility doctor who is truly invested in your journey, look no further. My fertility journey began in 2021, and like many, it was filled with highs and lows. I was initially told everything looked fine, only to later hear from another doctor that I would never get pregnant naturally. When I decided to pursue IVF, I started with a well-known doctor who, unfortunately, was overwhelmed with too many patients and couldn’t give my case the attention it needed. My egg count was declining rapidly, yet I was encouraged to proceed with a round despite the low numbers. When all of our embryos came back with genetic defects, we were devastated and also learned that we might have underlying genetic issues to consider. This doctor initially told me I could proceed with implantation, only to retract that statement days later. Feeling lost, I was unsure if I should continue with another round—until my mom found Dr. Kuo. She discovered glowing reviews from patients who had similar challenges, including low egg counts and genetic concerns, yet had success with him. From the very first consultation, I knew he was different. Dr. Kuo is incredibly methodical, patient, and genuinely cares about every single person he works with. He limits the number of patients he takes on so that he can be fully present for each of them. Once you are under his care, he creates a group chat where you can reach him and his nurses 24/7—something that made an immeasurable difference during such a stressful process. Dr. Kuo also understands the financial burden of IVF and will never push you into a cycle unless he truly believes it’s the right decision. He takes his time, but that patience is what makes him exceptional. After three rounds of IVF, he was able to get us pregnant with our ONE embryo. Dr. Kuo is nothing short of a miracle worker. His expertise, dedication, and compassion made all the difference in our journey, and I will forever be grateful to him and his amazing team. If you are looking for a doctor who will fight for you, support you, and do everything in his power to give you the best chance, Dr. Kuo is the one.

When we finally decided to go down the path of IVF, we did extensive research and read countless patient reviews. Dr. Kuo’s high ratings and reputation gave us the confidence to reach out, even though it meant driving an hour from home for every appointment. We waited three months just to have our first consultation, but we didn’t mind, knowing we were in good hands. With his exceptional credentials and commitment, Dr. Kuo’s compassionate and dedicated approach assured us we had made the right choice. From the very first consultation, Dr. Kuo thoroughly explained the entire IVF process and answered all our questions with enthusiasm and patience. His level of professionalism and dedication is exactly what you’d hope for in a doctor. He worked seven days a week, personally performing every ultrasound, monitoring session, retrieval, and transfer. His meticulous attention to detail and high qualifications were evident every step of the way. Martin, another wonderful team member, helped us learn the injection process with warmth and kindness, making us feel at ease. The rest of the staff created a warm, friendly, and comfortable environment, enhancing our overall experience. Dr. Kuo’s clinic felt like a second home, and we felt truly valued as VIP patients. We were given personal numbers to reach Dr. Kuo, Blue, and Martin, and their responses were always timely and reassuring. Even though I graduated from Dr. Kuo’s clinic, he is still helping me with my TSH adjustments. I’m checking my TSH every two weeks to see if I need adjustments with my medication. Once it’s reassuringly at a good level, I can feel fully comfortable moving forward with my OB-GYN to take care of the rest. This ongoing support shows their continued dedication to our care and well-being. Dr. Kuo’s track record and high success rates speak for themselves, but our experience confirmed every bit of his reputation. We wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kuo and his remarkable team—they are simply the best.

When we first started the IVF process we consulted with multiple IVF doctors around the country to see how the process works, what types of protocols they suggested using, and what kind of care we could expect while in their care. The vast majority of clinics we spoke with were much more concerned with the number of patients they handled, rather than the quality of care they provided. This is where Dr. Kuo and his IVF Fertility Center in Encino, CA stood out among the rest. The first consultation was more expensive than any of the others, but rest assured, from that one consult we knew we had found our doctor. He was meticulous and thorough taking all our questions and concerns seriously and without hesitation, showing his years of experience and expertise. From the time of consult to starting our first round of IVF, we waited less than 2 months. He performs many tests to rule out any conditions that may lead to an unsuccessful IVF cycle prior to commencing and recommends vitamins and practices that many other clinics seem to gloss over. This was much more comprehensive than any other IVF clinics we interviewed in the US and gave us assurance that we wouldn’t waste time and money using a protocol that would not result in success. His protocol follows your cycle rather than trying to make your cycle adjust to his schedule. He doesn’t recommend treatments that will save money if he doesn’t feel they will result in success. He does transfers 7 days a week. He is the only doctor in the clinic, so you work one-on-one with him and your assigned coordinator (We had Blue, the best coordinator!) every visit. He does every ultrasound, and every retrieval and transfer, so he knows everything about you and how your cycle is going. A typical visit during the cycle went as follows. You enter the doctor’s office 5 minutes before your appointment. At appointment time, never late, they take you back for blood work (every 2 days), then go into the exam room for a personal ultrasound by Dr. Kuo (every time with Dr. Kuo) and your coordinator (for us, Blue). Immediately after the ultrasound you go to Dr. Kuo’s office to discuss the results of the ultrasound and make adjustments to the medications. He also answers any and all questions you have every visit. There is no sense of rush, this is your time. Later in the afternoon Dr. Kuo will text you personally to go over the results of the blood work from that day and give you any further adjustments to your medications. This is by far the best service you could ask for! The Coordinator is available for questions any time of day and night via text, email and phone. No frustrating portal or nurse to deal with that isn’t personally familiar with your cycle and situation. After two successful rounds of IVF, we banked many more embryos than we expected, especially given our conditions and what we were told to expect from other clinics. Our first transfer was a success and we are now expecting our first baby in just a few months. We could not more highly recommend a doctor for IVF than Dr. Kuo and his team.

My husband and I had consults with a few IVF doctors before our consult with Dr. Kuo and immediately decided that he was the one for us. His consultation was thorough and he answered all our questions. We did 2 IVF cycles with him and both times got multiple highly-graded embryos for banking. Throughout the cycle, everything was handled promptly. Blue was our assigned coordinator and she made sure I was fully taken care of. Whether it was paperwork, calling in prescriptions, answering text messages any time of day, supplying work notes or emails, she was on top of everything. She was kind, sympathetic and kind of like my big sister who held my hand throughout. She even gave me medication reminders to ensure I did not forget anything. As we were out of town patients, she made sure to work our appointment times around our flights without even asking. I often tell her she is the best and I mean it. The clinic is extremely punctual, never making you wait more than 3 minutes before being seen by the doctor from your scheduled appointment time. The clinic is also extremely clean and well equipped. We saw Dr. Kuo at each ultrasound which he personally performed and all questions were answered on the same day, unlike other clinics where you wait to hear from the clinic on the portal or only speak to the doctor via the nurse who are not hands on with your case. After the retrieval, I had no pain at all and I believe that was because of the expertise and skills of Dr. Kuo. The kind of experience he brings to the table is unmatched. He is highly qualified, meticulous and dedicated to his job and works seven days a week. His medication and transfer protocols are tailor made for each patient and not cookie cutter protocols like other clinics. My first transfer worked and as I sit here writing this review while pregnant with my baby, I can only wish Dr. Kuo did deliveries as well. We travelled from NC across the country to CA for both our cycles and transfer and it was one of the best decisions we have made. Don’t think twice before booking the consultation.
