Drove from Philly to make the appointment and we are still giving 5 stars. Clean facility, lovely people. In a very business driven climate it’s good to have people who feel deeply invested in growing our family more than collecting fees. Thank you Illume.

Since the only thing we trust with less than 5 stars is a Hallmark movie, I'll give Illume 5 stars—though in reality, my rating would be a four. Dr. Williams earns a solid five for his consistency, care, and calm demeanor. I found it surprising that I never heard from him again after our success, but to each their own. As for the rest of the team and the overall process, I’d rate them a 3. There were inconsistencies between the materials provided and the information shared by the team, a lack of response from my assigned billing representative on multiple occasions, and other small issues that, if addressed, could elevate their service from okay to great.

I would never use this clinic, they seem like they care at first but truly only care about your money!! I paid $200 for an egg freezing consult, on 12/17/24. I went to the consultation on 1/8/25, the doctor was very informative and took her time with my questions, no problem there. But I STILL have not received a price quote for egg freezing! After my consult, I was taken to another room to discuss further with a team leader? I am unsure who she was but I assumed I would get some pricing at this point, they stated they DO NOT give pricing at the consult but that the finance person, Susana would reach out and discuss pricing with me. I thought that was odd, as I also work in medicine and my office would never do such a thing. I figured, this is just the way they do business and someone would reach out. She never reached out, so I emailed her, she returned my phone call the same day and stated she would email me back with finance terms. She never did, I then emailed her twice to follow up, I was upset by the third email. Instead of responding to me, that same day, I received another bill, charging me $200 again for the consult which I already paid for on 12/17/25. So, at this point, two weeks later, I have still not received any financial info and have been charged twice for a consult. I was really leaning towards this clinic for my fertility needs but after seeing the way this clinic does business, I would never trust them with such a delicate time in my life!! They quickly wanted me to set up every appointment right at consultation but but weren’t willing to offer pricing as to what I was committing to! It felt as if they take advantage of women’s emotional state and this is not a clinic I’d recommend to the people in my life. I’ve since been to two other consultations and will be picking another clinic, I had a way better experience and didn’t feel like I was just a dollar sign.

I do not recommend anyone use Illume for their fertility journey. Everyone was nice for the first impression and somewhat polite throughout the rest of my appointments with them. My problem for the last 2(?) months has been that we discovered we over paid/they over charged us on medical bills and have been avoiding my attempts at communicating with me to resolve the issue. At the point they owe us somewhere around $1500-2000 (so not a small amount of money) and the second I mention they over charged us they stop responding. So if you do choose to proceed with this very large, money hungry company, I would do it cautiously…
