my partner and I had been struggling to have a baby for a while, and it was one of the hardest things we’ve gone through. We felt overwhelmed and discouraged at times, but Dr. Ade Conde helped us every step of the way. he was kind, patient, and always took the time to answer our questions and make us feel comfortable. We’re so thankful for the care and support we received from Dr. Ade Conde and the team at Halton Fertility Clinic. They gave us hope when we needed it most. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone going through a fertility journey.

Very disappointing first experience at Halton Fertility & Women's Health Centre. We waited about an hour and a half before being seen. The waiting room was overcrowded, and the chairs were placed directly in front of the reception desk, making it uncomfortable to speak privately with the receptionist since other patients were sitting so close by. The loud rap music playing on the TV also felt very unprofessional. When we finally met the doctor, he was kind and pleasant, which we appreciated. However, after that, my husband and I were sent into another room with two staff members. I was not impressed with the way one of the women spoke to me. Instead of introducing herself or explaining what was happening, the first thing she said was, “Drop your pants.” I was shocked and uncomfortable because nobody had explained why I was there. I was abruptly instructed to proceed without context. The whole interaction felt rushed, impersonal, and disrespectful. Instead of feeling cared for during what is already a very emotional process, I felt like we were being treated as part of a production line. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I would not recommend this clinic.

I was referred to this clinic by my former family physician, and my experience here—with both the staff and Dr. Adetunji—ended up being financially, emotionally, and physically exhausting. From early on, I felt like the focus was more on money than on patient care. Appointments were very brief, and there was little effort to actually review my file in detail or have a meaningful conversation about my situation. It often felt rushed and impersonal. I chose to do a non-funded IVF cycle here because the wait time for funded IVF is long. The egg retrieval process was one of the hardest parts for me. It was extremely painful and honestly traumatic, and the recovery took a long time both physically and mentally. What made it worse was that I was not given anesthesia, nor was I properly informed about what to expect in terms of pain. I later learned that many clinics offer anesthesia as part of the IVF process, often without additional cost. I was never given that option here, and I think that’s something patients deserve to know upfront. After the retrieval, I was prescribed medications for multiple cycles to “prepare” my lining for embryo transfer. This went on for 3–4 cycles without any clear explanation. I didn’t have a diagnosed fertility issue—my case was considered unexplained—and we had chosen IVF mainly because of time and age. When I later went to another clinic, I was told my lining was completely normal and no extra preparation was needed. We proceeded with a natural cycle, and it worked on the first attempt. Looking back, it’s hard not to feel that I went through unnecessary treatment that cost us time, money, and my overall well-being. It took nearly a year from when I first started at this clinic to even get to an embryo transfer, with multiple cycles spent on medications while being told everything looked “fine.” The administrative side was also very frustrating. Getting through to the clinic was difficult—calls often went unanswered, prescriptions were delayed or sent incorrectly, and there was a constant need to follow up. There were times when prescriptions didn’t reach the pharmacy on time, which caused me to miss treatment cycles. Anyone going through fertility treatment knows how important timing is, and losing cycles because of these issues was incredibly stressful. When my embryo transfer was unsuccessful, the response I received felt dismissive and lacking in empathy, which made an already difficult situation even harder to process. I’m writing this now with some distance from the experience. Since leaving this clinic, I received care elsewhere that was much more attentive and transparent. I became pregnant on my first transfer there and now have a baby. I’m sharing this so others can make a more informed decision. Not all clinics operate this way, and it’s important to ask questions about procedures, pain management options, timelines, and communication before starting treatment here.

I am so glad I was referred to Dr. Ade-Conde. He is incredibly professional and takes the time to explain things clearly, which I really appreciate. The clinic itself is very clean and the entire process is efficient. While it can be difficult to get through to the office by phone unless they are calling you or you are booking in person, the quality of care is definitely worth it. He is a truly excellent doctor!

While I understand the negative reviews towards the disorganization of the front desk staff, I have to give Dr. Ade-Conde a 5-star. I underwent a laparoscopic surgery to remove three large ovarian dermoids with Dr. Ade-Conde as my surgeon, the recovery has been a breeze (stitches & wounds are healing perfectly, excluding the side effects of the anaesthesia/surgery bloating). Dr. Ade-Conde tried his very best and preserved both of my ovaries (my cysts were large, if you look on Reddit, a lot of inexperienced surgeons will just remove the ovaries). Yes, this clinic is overbooked and disorganized, and I originally had the same sentiment towards the booking system/inability to get to the front desk via phone, but the doctor’s professionalism and care for his patients deserve this rating, which is what matters the most when finding a good doctor.
