Beware of Hidden Costs and Lack of Accountability! My experience with Gago Fertility Center in Brighton, MI, has been nothing short of a nightmare. We went through several rounds of IVF and transfers, and unfortunately, all of them ended in failure. But what made this already difficult journey even worse was the deceptive billing practices and the total lack of accountability from the staff. During the IVF process, we were explicitly told that a certain lab test would be 100% covered by insurance, or at most would cost $275 if we needed to pay out-of-pocket. Fast forward a couple of months, and we receive a surprise bill around $900—a far cry from what we were originally told. Naturally, we called the Gago Fertility Center to dispute the bill and get some answers, and their response was nothing short of appalling. They literally told us it wasn’t their problem and that they didn’t care about the billing issue at all. This kind of treatment is beyond unprofessional and completely unacceptable. This experience has had a devastating impact on our family, especially considering we also had to go through the emotional toll of miscarriages during the IVF process. Not only have we lost valuable time, but we’ve also been misled about costs and left with financial stress on top of everything else. I strongly urge anyone considering fertility treatments to stay far away from this center. Do NOT trust them when they tell you certain costs are covered or that you'll only pay a small amount. They clearly have no regard for the well-being of their patients, and their lack of transparency and support makes this place a trap. If you value honesty, transparency, and a provider who actually cares about you, look elsewhere. Avoid Gago Fertility Center at all costs.

I absolutely love this office. Not only is it clean and they keep you very informed but the staff is so helpful and understanding that this is not an easy process so they make you feel very comfortable. All my appointments have been on time like scheduled as well which is nice because I drive an hour specifically so I can go to Dr. Gagos office. I am so happy I did my research and trusted my instincts to pick Dr. Gago and her team. 🩷

I had a very disappointing experience with the billing department. The representative I spoke with was unprofessional and rude, making comments that were completely unacceptable. I was told, "Pay your bill or deal with another facility, or discard or donate your eggs." This kind of behavior is not only offensive but also completely uncalled for. I expect much better customer service from any organization. I hope the management takes this issue seriously and works toward improving their staff’s professionalism and the overall client experience.

Dr Gago and her team truly go above and beyond for their patients and I cannot recommend enough. The staff is so warm and seem to actually care about your journey. Communication between many monitoring appointments was excellent and very well organized. Dr Gago herself is such a sweetheart and an expert in her field. You feel taken care of from start to finish. I cannot thank this whole team enough for all they have done!!

Highly recommend. Caring staff and doctors that do everything to try and help. While providing honest odds and answers. This can be a long journey with many ups and downs. I worked with Dr. Gago and I highly recommend her. And I loved her whole nursing team. This place is experts in what they do.
