We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the entire team at Conceptia. Our journey with IVF involved only one stimulation cycle, one frozen embryo graded 4BB, and a single embryo transfer. We were incredibly fortunate that this one attempt resulted in implantation. We saw our baby’s heartbeat at our first ultrasound, and that moment will stay with us forever. Of course, every patient’s experience is unique, but from our personal perspective, the care we received at Conceptia was exceptional from beginning to end. Everyone treated us with kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. There were several occasions when procedures took longer because I needed extra time — whether waiting for my bladder to be full enough for an ultrasound or before the embryo transfer. At no point did anyone make me feel rushed or uncomfortable. The staff were always understanding and supportive. One of the ultrasound technicians even brought me water and patiently helped me through the process. A special thank you goes to the embryologist. She is truly a bright light — warm, open, compassionate, and passionate about what she does. The emotions we experienced on the day of our embryo transfer were unforgettable, and her kindness played a big part in making that day so special. We are also very grateful to the nursing team. Whenever we had questions, someone always called back promptly. Prescriptions and instructions were always sent on time, everything was organized efficiently, and communication was clear and reassuring. Throughout the entire process, we felt supported and cared for. What impressed us most was not only the professionalism of the clinic but also the human side of the care we received. We always felt respected, listened to, and treated as individuals. And of course, a very special thank you to Dr. Samuel Jean. With only one stimulation cycle, one embryo, and one opportunity, my personal expectations for success were very low. The fact that our untested (non-PGT) embryo implanted successfully and continued developing to the point where we were able to see a heartbeat at our first ultrasound is something for which we will always be grateful. In our view, the clinic and its team did everything they possibly could and performed their work to the highest standard. Whatever may happen later in a pregnancy is often beyond anyone’s control. Working with Conceptia (nothing personal towards doctors and nurses), just with the clinic as an institution, has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. There has consistently been a lack of accurate and inclusive communication, which acts as a deterrent to even wanting kids. This institution is focused only on making money, rather than on client-centered care. If you have the money, I would 100% recommend going to a different province to do fertility treatment.

The first negative experience me and my partner had was the initial point of contact. When I inquired the reason for a urine test and bloodwork from the non-carrying woman in the relationship, the admin just said “it helps with the investigations” with no further explanation. As this is something I would imagine that they would have some insight on due to the specialization of the clinic, being told something so vague felt dismissive and unprofessional. Additionally, we had to wait 2hrs for an ultrasound and had to approach admin desk 3 times for any movement. There should be better communication by the admin staff to the patients, especially with this wait time. Paying $300 for this and having to wait 2hrs for a 5 minute appointment was frustrating to say the least. The nurse and ultrasound tech were great however and they at least made the bloodwork and ultrasound a good experience!

The staff are professional, helpful and pleasant. They make you feel comfortable and help to ease nervousness. The nurses and doctors are experts and they answer your questions asap. Where public services would have taken potentially years, this clinic increased our chances of having children by shortening wait times substantially. My wife and I are pleased with the experience we had. Thank you!

The staff at Conceptia were very friendly and informative. The clinic was clean and I loved that they explained everything from the phone conversation to in person. My entire experience was wonderful!! Continue to do the fantastic work that you do at Conceptia, it’s greatly appreciated !!
