CHU Sainte-Justine Fertility Clinic

My intention was to always give birth at Ste Justine Hospital, which is why I wanted to get into this clinic. I was initially given a male doctor (will not disclose his name), who I was really not happy/aligned with. To give some context: I was 40 years old, in excellent shape/health, never had a miscarriage. I wanted my pregnancy and birth experience to have the least amount of intervention possible, but he was on the complete opposite side of the spectrum. He prescribed me two medications which I knew were not necessary and he had already decided he was inducing me at 38 wks--even though aside from my age there was no reason to do so, everything was perfect. At 5 months, I had enough and wanted to switch OBGYN, or else I was going to go to a birthing house (my application was accepted). The clinic immediately switched me over to Dr. Carol Anne Vallee, and I have been relaxed, happy and very supported since that switch. She removed the medication (I didn't even need to ask, it was her call) and assured me that there was no reason to induce me at 38 weeks because everything looked great. She is understanding of my birth plan and is just overall exactly what a doctor should be: informative and supportive. If I don't want to go through with something, she is ready to provide a plan B and thoroughly explain the pros and cons of whatever I decide. I wish more doctors were like her. Highly recommend her!

I couldn't love this place more and the professionals who were involved in my prenatal care. We were always very well received, all our questions were answered, and we always felt safe and cared for. We are eternally grateful for the impeccable work.

I had the best experience at the clinic and i was lucky to have Dr.Iglesias. She is so smart, so kind, so humble & treats patients with respect. She has been with me since day one till the end. My experience was 10/10

I am delighted with my experience with the nurses and my doctor, and I would give them five stars; however, this review is about my experience with customer service. I showed up at my appointment, and to my surprise, the secretary informed me that my appointment was rescheduled for the following week. When I told her no one had called me to notify me of the change, the secretary said I had rescheduled it, which I explained to her that I never did. Not only did she not recognize it was their mistake, but no accommodations were made so I could see the doctor that day or an apology for wasting my time.

Friendly and welcoming experience by all staff. The doctors are great. Very professional and knowledgeable. My only complaint is the wait time when calling to make or change an appointment. I've waited well over 45 minutes once and I usually don't get through in the first half hour of waiting. It makes it difficult to call on my breaks.
