The Centre for Human Assisted Reproductive Medicine (CHARM Fertility) has four locations in the GTA: Etobicoke, Oakville, Brampton and Orangeville. The clinics are run by Dr. Lamiaa Migahed, with a team of nurses. CHARM offers all the typical fertility treatments: IVF, IUI, and monitored and medicated cycles. CHARM does not perform IVF procedures (egg
retrievals, IVF and embryo transfers) at their facilities, they have a partnership with CreAte Fertility in Toronto. For IVF procedures, cycle monitoring is done at CHARM and protocols are dictated by Dr. Migahed, but the procedures are performed at CReAte facilities by CReAtedoctors, nurses and embryologists. Frozen embryos, eggs and sperm are also stored
at CReAte.

Reviews
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this clinic. The reception staff are often rude and unprofessional, and it is very difficult to get assistance when needed. Phone calls frequently go unanswered, and on some occasions, my calls were disconnected without any explanation. Over the past two years, I have spent a significant amount of time trying to receive proper medical care here, but I have seen very little effort to address my concerns. The doctor is often unavailable, and there seems to be a lack of communication and follow-up from the clinic. During this time, my insurance coverage was used, and I also paid a substantial amount of money out of pocket—close to $20,000—yet I did not receive the level of care or treatment I expected. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. I hope the clinic takes patient concerns seriously and improves its customer service, communication, and overall quality of care.
I want to sincerely thank Charm Fertility and their amazing staff for supporting me throughout my pregnancy journey. It’s been 7 months I am a blessed mother of twin daughters, and I will always be grateful for the care I received. The nurses were wonderful—not only medically professional, but also emotionally supportive during every step of the process. They truly gave me strength when I needed it most. The ultrasound nurses were also kind and caring souls who made every visit comforting and special. The doctor was outstanding, and the reception staff were always so helpful with booking, rescheduling, and answering any questions I had. No matter how busy things were, they always treated me with kindness and patience. Because of their support and guidance, I was able to conceive my babies naturally. Thank you is truly not enough to express my gratitude. I highly recommend Charm Fertility to anyone looking for compassionate and exceptional care.
Very frustrated and disappointed. I’ve been visiting this clinic ( Etobicoke Branch) for cycle monitoring for over 5 months, and my experience has been quite disappointing and frustrating. For the first 4 months, I was repeatedly advised to undergo different tests and was not allowed to proceed with trying to conceive. Over time, the frequent ultrasounds and blood work every week became overwhelming, so this month I chose to skip the Day 2–5 ultrasound because I needed a break. When I called on Day 10 to book an ultrasound to track ovulation, I was told that I could not be accommodated because I missed the earlier scan. This felt unreasonable, as follicle monitoring mid-cycle can still provide useful information for ovulation tracking. I paid $300 in annual fees specifically for cycle monitoring, so denying this service defeats the purpose of enrolling in the program. Additionally, I was told I would receive a call from a nurse the same day to discuss next steps, but I never received any follow-up. Throughout my visits, I have not had the opportunity to consult directly with the doctor I initially chose this clinic for. Instead, different nurses or assistants reviewed my results each time, often giving inconsistent guidance, which left me confused and uncertain about my care plan. Overall, the experience has felt very rigid, poorly coordinated, and not patient-centered. I would never recommend anyone to this clinic.
HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m truly grateful to the CHARM team for their care and kindness. I can’t thank everyone enough. Special thanks to Nataly at reception for her reassurance while I was waiting for my results - it meant so much to me. ❤️ I’d also like to sincerely thank Dr. Tiao, Nurse Ramanpreet, and Nurse Sonia, who never got tired of answering all my questions and supporting me from my first 10 weeks up to my 14th week. Thanks also to all the nurses, reception staff, and sonographers at CHARM. Your professionalism, compassion, and genuine care made every visit reassuring and positive. Truly appreciated! 😊
I was on this clinic’s IVF waiting list for two years. No one contacted me when a spot became available. Instead, I received an email saying my spot was given to someone else because I didn’t follow up. If they were able to email me to remove me from the list, they could just as easily have emailed me to tell me my spot was available. A clinic should respect its waiting list and contact patients when it’s their turn. After waiting two years, I am now too old to wait again or risk an unplanned pregnancy—because of their poor communication. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else with better patient care.
