Context from the full review: the author also praises the practitioner and staff; the original rating is three stars. this was my first ob gyn experience. i was shaking when i saw the room i was guided to. it was fowl. even the nurse practitioner (sweet blonde lady with glasses) was horrified. she said they would handle it immediately and she would address it with her manager.

My doctor is Dr. Pena. He has always been kind, calm, polite, knowledgeable, with great experience. His nurses were always helpful. They helped me with my discomfort with needles. The waits have always been long though. I will say that.

If you are high risk I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place AT ALL. They do not even have a working 24 hr nurse line. Just a voicemail box that you talk to and HOPE someone calls you back. This is the first pregnancy I have carried this long successfully without miscarriage and the disorganization of the staff, receiving calls after hours and not being able to call back, and lack of overall communication has made this my worst nightmare.

Overall, the care itself was fine; however, the staff experience was extremely disappointing. The staff was unprofessional and loud, and I was even instructed to perform parts of their job myself, such as checking my own blood pressure and temperature.
