I was told by the NP over the phone that I had a 1.4cm tumor on my pituitary. I spent 24hr in a state of distress. I informed my loved ones. I had an appointment with my endocrinologist the next day, who reassured me the ‘tumor’ was a 1.4mm unconfirmed microadenoma. Nothing to worry about and she wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t see it on my next scan. Even if it was a confirmed microadenoma it was far too small to have any effect on my pituitary gland. My family and I were taken on a cruel emotional roller coaster for nothing. Most communication and treatment is done through support staff, such as the NP, I saw the doctor maybe twice in my 1+ years with this facility.

Dr. Kavoussi: Dr. Kavoussi is not only a brilliant doctor but also one of the most caring and compassionate people I’ve ever met. He took the time to explain even the most complex medical concepts in a way that made sense to us, ensuring we were always comfortable and informed. He never rushed through our appointments, making sure all our concerns were addressed. His kindness and patience truly made a world of difference during this journey. Amy and Sarah: Amy and Sarah are the kind of nurses you hope for in such a vulnerable experience. They were always there to answer every question, no matter how small or repetitive, and they never made me feel like a burden. Their empathy shone through in every interaction—celebrating our wins with genuine joy and offering heartfelt support during the tougher moments. Their care and compassion provided such a sense of comfort and reassurance when we needed it most. Ann: Ann is an absolute gem. Not only did she guide us through every financial option with clarity and understanding, but she also knew how to bring a smile to our faces. Even in the midst of serious discussions, she had a way of making us laugh and feel at ease. Her warmth and humor were exactly what we needed to navigate the financial side of IVF without feeling overwhelmed. The Front Staff Ladies: Though I wish I could remember all their names, what I’ll never forget is the warmth of their smiles every time I walked through the door. From the moment I stepped into the clinic, I felt welcomed and cared for, and that meant the world during such an emotional time. This team has been nothing short of amazing, and I am forever grateful for the care and compassion they’ve shown us. They’ve made this challenging journey a little easier, and I’ll always hold them close in my heart as we look forward to meeting our little one.

Reading through the other reviews, I am not sure what happened with their experience, but mine has been quite amazing! The entire team from receptionists, to sonographer, nurse practitioner, and doctors have all been amazing!!! I am an actual person to them, not just another patient like I felt was treated at other clinics. We have had great success in our process so far. Communication has been great and I always feel well informed. I highly recommend Westlake IVF to anyone!

Dr. Kavoussi, Amy and staff were wonderful throughout our infertility journey. It felt very much like we were communicating with family. They understand my family’s work and home situation and made accommodations for us to be treated at the clinic. You will never find a more caring and compassionate clinic that truly cares about you and your individual journey.
