I recently had a delivery here and have been impressed with the exceptional care provided by UAB doctors. They consistently demonstrate kindness, patience, and professionalism. The hospital's service and facilities are also exemplary.

My daughter was extremely high risk with her first child. The entire experience. Although terrifying, was made so much better by the entire staff. I am very thankful and recommend this hospital to absolutely anyone in need of medical assistance. Purely professional, caring people.. I love them

UAB is amazing! I had a high risk pregnancy due to my heart condition and Maternal Fetal Medicine was great! I have no qualms with UAB MFM or L&D. However, I wish I could review the Maternal Evaluation Unit separate. I went in three times the week before my son was born. He ended up being born at 31 weeks 1 day. I was in excruciating pain. I was dismissed. I even had a nurse tell me I was just looking for pills, when I have no history of that ever. I was told it was round ligament pain by four different nurses and two different doctors. Horrible experience with the MEU. I was going through a placental abruption, and was told it was round ligament pain. MEU needs to do better.

Great staff. You don't see 1 OB delivery Dr. Although she did see Dr Wright while he was on his shift. I can't remember all the names of the Drs that came in and checked on her. Very very respectful and caring. Moma and baby was provided in room monitoring the whole time. Claire and Ashlynn was great. After baby was born, 2 hours, they were transferred to 6th floor. Sweet nurses there too, Alexis and Ashlyn are very caring and loving too,;if I left out any names I'm sorry guys y'all are all awesome. I am very very pleased that my family was treated so good and both are healthy and happy.

Absolute miracle workers. This place is one of a kind, almost like a city inside a city. Everything is so well organized, The people are polite, and most importantly the medical professionals are absolutely top notch. The care received here is truly life-changing, and like none you will receive at small town hospitals. There's an absolute reason people come from all over the southeast to this facility, and it is well worth the drive and price. A+++
