Never going back to any UC health doctor’s, this was my last straw. I already moved neurologists, dentists, primary care so now it’s time to move gynos. I have endometriosis and get severe cramping from it which makes me need twice the recommended dosage of Tylenol and Dr. tian has the audacity to say it’s fine to continue to scar my liver by doing this instead of prescribing a muscle relaxer or any pain management that won’t scar my liver. An absolute joke to call yourself a doctor. On top of that, they used to have clinics, now the mega health company just shoves every specialist into their mega hospital where there is no parking and many deathly sick patients.

I must emphasize that I love the doctors at this practice. I’ve mostly worked with Dr. Emily Hurley and Dr. Joe Karnitis, both of whom are compassionate and knowledgeable. The real issue with this practice is at a bureaucratic level with the UC Health organization. This clinic DOES NOT PERFORM EGG RETRIEVALS ON WEEKENDS, due to having no anesthesiologists on staff for Saturday and Sunday. I am certain UC Health could make this happen if they gave the resources necessary to the Center for Reproductive Health. So it seems to me the doctors’ hands are tied. But not performing weekend egg retrievals is simply irresponsible in a fertility practice. IVF is extremely time-sensitive and patients pay TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for the mere chance of having a baby. Again, the doctors are wonderful so it is a shame that I simply cannot recommend this practice to others who are struggling with infertility and need to rely on IVF for a chance at a baby. It’s too risky when a weekend egg retrieval is not an option.

Our entire experience was fantastic. Billing was never a problem, if we had any questions about the financials we were encouraged to ask. All of the medications and how to administer them were explained in detail. All of the Doctors and aides and office staff were just lovely, I enjoyed all of my interactions with them. We required two attempts and a few different months of changing medications to see what worked with my body. The process was as painless as it could have been, I never felt alone. Currently 17 weeks pregnant after a second transfer, and absolutely thrilled!

Dr. Thakore is outstanding. She helped my husband & I conceive our rainbow baby. She worked with me and she went at the pace that I wanted. She was not pushy. She is very knowledgeable and paid close attention to our case to make sure that we received proper care. She saved us a great amount of money by making sure that we only underwent treatment that was 100% necessary. I highly recommend her. We are so thankful!!

My first experience here today and I wish I could have walked out and gone somewhere else. Nobody was there to greet me at the desk, I was not sure where to go. I waited for someone to walk by so I could get directions and she acted like she didn’t really want to help me. when I finally got to the correct floor the lady who checked me in was pleasant and so was the nurse. Next time I go for my next appointment I will ask for another doctor. He rushed me and everything I was saying he made it seem like it didn’t really matter. They value money more than their patients. I left the office feeling like the doctor was not listening to all I had to say. Next time I won’t be so nice and hold my tongue.
