Dr. Robertshaw and her staff are incredible. I would recommend them to anyone struggling with fertility. Dr. Robertshaw was kind, empathetic, and knowledgeable. Tiffany, our nurse, provided us with clear information and instructions. Twice I called the nurse on call after hours and both times I was connected right away. My husband and I felt extremely confident in the care we were being provided throughout the entire process of IVF. We will be returning to Bethesda Fertility Clinic in the future so we can continue to grow our family. We are looking forward to working with this clinic again.

We took treatment during 2020 and it was unsuccessful!! The treatment is unsuccessful because of the carelessness of Dr. Reynolds and the dr. Robertshaw. We took treatment with Dr. Robertshaw. We did IUI and an IVF. Just 2 days before the egg retrieval was scheduled , we were informed that Dr.Robertshaw is not available as she goes on vacation, that was ridiculous just informing 2 days before retrieval. Dr. Reynolds was the backup doctor, she did ultrasound a day before retrieval and mentioned double the number of oocytes that Robershaw informed us. We were not happy to do the retrieval and we asked if Robertshaw can move her vacation but the clinic declined the same. Robershaw was good throughout the treatment except for the retrieval. First issue was Dr.Reynolds didn’t identify the number of oocytes correctly. Second issue: We received call from clinic just an hour before injecting the ovulation inducing injection HCG to inform that our retrieval timing has been changed to 7 am instead of 11 am. They really played with us in every moment. Third issue: Retrieval was done almost 45 mins later than the scheduled time. Fourth issue: After retrieval, nurse informed us that 4 eggs with 1 matured egg were retrieved out of 14 that literally made us worried and when we asked for the reason for retrieving less number of eggs, their response literally shocked us. Their response was that the ovulation might occurred prior to retrieval. I don’t recommend Bethesda. Dr. Robertshaw was good but she failed to complete her job. If someone is taking treatment, please ensure you don’t totally rely on them, do all your due diligence before your IVF and get written confirmation from doctors before you go through the procedure.

Dr. Robertshaw and team have been amazing throughout this very challenging journey. Dr. Robertshaw is incredibly kind and takes the time to really listen and talk to her patients. My husband and I had been trying for years with no luck. Thanks to this team our family is now blessed with a sweet baby boy. We are forever grateful for the care we received at Bethesda Fertility Center.

Dr. Robertshaw is amazing! The care she has for each patient is something that is rare to come across. She listens to my concerns about my body and the medicines and explains the "why" behind the protocol. How she takes her time with each couple/patient and never makes you feel rushed or silly for asking a question that I am sure she has been asked and answered four times that day. The nurses, front office support, medical assistants and billing department (Colleen) are so helpful and get back to you within a reasonable amount of time. Bethesda Fertility Clinic is the place to go regardless of your situation, you will not feel alone and the care you will receive is nothing that you can compare. Keep up the awesome work!

After 3+ years of trying independently and through our OB, we were beyond nervous to be referred to a specialist. We thought this only meant that we were getting closer to our biggest fear of not being able to conceive. Dr. Robertshaw and her staff were not only professional, courteous, but also a calm during our storm of fertility issues. After years of tears every month it didn’t take long to get that positive pregnancy test. We now have an absolutely beautiful baby boy! I refer anyone I can to Dr. Robertshaw and would be glad to visit her office again should we need to.
