Waisted over a year with this place thank god they got more help did two rounds of ivf didn’t work after you find out it didn’t work you can’t even talk to your doctor for 3 to 5 months out to go over anything after you complain to the big bosses they find you a spot. Told me everything looked great had 2 perfect embryos and had them tested and still didn’t work? I think they hurried and took everybody that they could and didn’t really pay each patient that much time I will not deal with any one I had in the past I want a whole new team of nurses and doctor this is ridiculous I spent my life savings on this joke of a place for this not to work with no good explanation. But they want you to pay for all the difference test that doesn’t even guarantee you a baby why have patience do everything and nothing works. Just because your doctors or nurses that doesn’t mean you’re good ones. Lesson learned still won’t change anything or get my money or time back.

took 6 months to finally see any one. i should of known when I did not get an appointment confirmation. I got there and baystate told me they moved to the main building. I got there and they literally abandoned ship! they shut down without any notice to patients. when I got to the main baystate building it was Boston IVF, not Baystate. They were great and really apologetic for what happened but I had to start the process over as a new patient. luckily I haven’t started any treatment at baystate. i cannot believe they did not send out any notice

In shock and worst communication. I have been going here since Feb 2023 and had great experiences with majority of the nurses and team. After 3 IUIs didn’t work and I stated I wanted to go to IVF, they proceeded to tell me that there is a ONE YEAR waitlist to start IVF and a 3 month waitlist to even speak to the doctor. Not one nurse told me about the waitlist for IVF even though I clearly stated during the last ultrasound that if it doesn’t work I wanted to do IVF. Transferred infertility treatments to UMass Infertility.

In retrospect, my family's experience with the Fertility Clinic at Baystate in Springfield has been largely and consistently negative. I would not recommend pursuing IVF at this facility. We had been working with this practice for multiple years and in the last year they have lost 3 doctors, turn over for nurses seems high, and our interaction with the lab has also been problematic. We did not obtain a viable pregnancy from our efforts from 2 separate rounds of egg extractions, and there were problems with embryo testing, insurance paperwork filing, lack of timely communication, lack of confidence in our doctors and their availability to discuss outcomes, and disorganization in the clinic. I recognize that it's likely that those who end a relationship without a viable pregnancy may seem inclined or incentivized to post a negative review, but I would encourage anyone who is considering IVF or fertility needs to ask a lot of questions about this practice and do your homework. Again, I would not recommend this practice for your journey, and I sincerely wish the best for you.

My wife and I have been dealing with infertility for almost a decade. After multiple offices, we ended up having our best cycles with Baystate Reproductive Biology Lab & IVF Unit. After taking a couple year break for our mental healths' my wife and I came back to try another round with Baystate. Coming back to this cycle, you can see an apparent decrease in the quality of care. The doctors are more frigid and the nurses seem like they couldn't care less. A disgusting and disheartening experience; nothing anyone who is facing infertility issues should have to deal with.
