There was one day that I had to take the shot at the office. The nurse who did the subcutaneous injection for me was terrible. Either her skill was very poor or she didn't care at all. She pushed the syringe plunger with too much pressure, and the medication shoot out of the tip like fireworks. She said: "oops!" There was very little medication left inside the syringe. She didn't even apologize for her mistake. I was at immediate regret and should have done it myself even I haven't given myself a shot, I would have been more careful and not waste medicine. That was the worse cycle I had with this center. Also, the center is all for money. The price is very high compared to some other places but not necessary gives the best results. The staffs didn't do a good job clarifying the cost at each step and caused some confusion. When called for clarification, she pushed the blame to me, and said I signed the form and should have known better. That's not the attitude I am expecting when I pay so much already. I am giving 2 stars because the lady at the front desk who check me in is always nice. If I have to choose again, I would not have chosen this center. Stay away! They only care about the money.

Communication by staff is shockingly very poor and confusing and it was extremely difficult to reach someone to discuss next steps. When we were finally able to speak to someone, they apparently did not provide us with accurate and clear information thus causing delay and wasted time and money on several testing conducted previously. We were so disappointed in the poor communication that we decided to start over at another fertility clinic.

If you have no infertility issues and have money to burn then RFC is the place for you! However, if you have actual infertility, I would avoid this place at all costs! These people spent 5 months doing all kinds of ultrasounds and lab tests on me and my husband with nothing to show for it. The ultrasound techs and lab techs lacked experience, they often missed my veins or couldn’t find follicles. I was told my “hormonal cyst” was delaying my treatment. I was told I was a “poor responder”. We spent thousands of dollars. We finally got to using the Stim meds and the dosages were all wrong for my body. The extremely high dosages caused my FSH to shoot through the roof (they weren’t even monitoring it) and then they blamed me and my body for “not responding”. I left every appointment in tears. I finally had enough. I trusted my instincts and changed clinics. The new clinic had no problem with the occasional cysts that routinely come up in IVF. They never once blamed my age or my body. The medications they put me on were appropriate for my body and my specific ovarian function. We were able to afford 5 retrievals and now have 6 embryos, ready to implant in Jan! Save yourself time and money if you have low AMH or age related infertility and go to Life IVF in Irvine instead.

They're really good when they're taking your money. You have to beg them to send you records. I had to call five times to get a copy of my results. And this happened on two different occasions. Very impersonal type of treatment.

Dr. Lin and his team are truly the best in the world. From the very start, Dr. Lin treated me like family, with the care and concern of a father. I went to him with an AMH of 0.3, feeling hopeless, but he gave me the hope I needed. Throughout the entire process, he provided close, personalized care and left no stone unturned in his efforts to help me. After just a few months under his expert guidance, I am now pregnant! Dr. Lin is, without a doubt, the most caring and dedicated doctor you could ever find. I highly recommend him and his wonderful team!
