I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care I received at Island Fertility. From my first visit, the staff made me feel welcomed and supported during a deeply personal and emotional journey. During that initial visit, I had a memorable moment in the waiting room when a lady came in with a gorgeous baby and asked for Dr. Lauren Safier (Ivy League, MD, graduated from Cornell). She wanted to show Dr. Safier the beautiful baby that she helped to bring into the world. It was a heartwarming sight that instantly inspired hope in me and reminded me of the incredible impact Island Fertility has on so many families. Dr. Safier and the entire team at Island Fertility took the time to listen to my concerns and answered all my questions with patience and compassion. Their expertise and dedication were evident every step of the way. I appreciated the personalized treatment plan tailored to my specific needs, which made me feel valued as a patient. The warm and caring environment at Island Fertility helped ease my anxiety, and I always felt like I was in good hands. The communication throughout the process was outstanding, and I always knew what to expect. Posting for my wife bc she’s just besides herself. We came to this office looking for help to conceive. They told us insurance would cover everything we spoke about. A month later we received 2 bills. One from the office for $800 and one from the lab for $3000!!!! Going thru what we had to go thru and then ending up with a bill like that is crazy. To top it off, we have been trying to speak with sometime regarding the bills but no one will call us back. We’ve left voicemails and emails numerous times! We’ve received a response once stating they will look into it. 8 months later and still no answers to emails or calls back. I will never step foot in this place again. Very unprofessional and not helpful at all!! Today I wrote my last email to them, stating my feelings on the subject and guess what someone called me back. I’m at work so I missed the call and I called back and what do you know, answering machine again. That was my last straw so here I am telling you about my experience. If you go here, good luck!

I have been working with Dr. Hershlag since May and he has been beyond patient with me. We tried multiple rounds of clomid and letrozole, but unfortunately it did not work. Soon will he starting IVF and I could not be more excited and positive that it will work. Dr. hershlag makes my husband and I feel calm and excited about the future of our children! Highly recommend this practice & Dr. Hershlag!!

I cannot say enough good things about the staff here and my overall experience—Dr. Trivax is by far the best doctor I've ever had. He's approachable, compassionate, and makes you feel totally normal, calm and supported during these sensitive experiences. The entire team is highly communicative, always transparent and prompt with updates and scheduling. The only issue I encountered was with billing—we received unexpected large bills despite multiple discussions about fees, as we were paying out of pocket. Somehow, they still failed to provide all the necessary information. If you're looking for a responsive, transparent, caring team, I highly recommend Island Fertility, but be sure to ask finance as many detailed questions as possible, as they won’t always volunteer all the information upfront.
